When G.F. took over, the Rubber Bowl was essentially unchanged since the early 1970s. I also understand that he only accepted the position at Akron after the University pledged to substantially increase its financial commitment to football. Therefore, I assert that he did it with the same facilities and more financial resources than his predecessors.
Sagarin has them at #250 and behind every team with a winning record, and also behind dozens of teams with a losing record including New Hampshire, Morgan State, Eastern Michigan, Coastal Carolina, and NC A&T.
I'm with you 110%. These guys are absolutely the best 1-11 team out there. We will be lucky to be favored in this game. The good news is this will be considered a "good loss."

2. Does/did the rule apply only to those getting a free ride, or also to those getting partial scholarships?
