OK, so the Flashes aren't playing up to their normal standard this season; still I was surprised by the split Saturday and it feels good.

My guess is Louisville, but there is a one in a million chance he could become a Zip.
That's right, I'm saying there is a chance.

Four conference wins thus far, and an overall record >25%. 9-16 at home.
Better than I expected.
If work (and Mother Nature) cooperates I'll finally get out to the ballpark Friday.
If nobody else is there, go to Kent State because that's where the Zips are playing (or getting rained out) this weekend.

Son you must have a learning disability. I said there is talent but who wants to live under the poverty level. Stop your nonsense!
Old timer you must be going senile. In responding to my question you never replied that there are any players on the Zip's team talented enough to play at the minor league level. Instead you have focused on the fact the compensation level of minor league footballers.

Not the case! So whats the avg salary of Arena league player. I can tell you its 31k min to 50k avg. These boys can get a real job and make a heck of a lot more than that.
You have detoured the conversation away from my question which was: are any of the current Zips good enough to make the roster of an Arena (or Indoor or whatever they are called now) team. Your nonresponses to this question suggests your answer is "No". This is not good.

No I did not say that! Arena football pays nothing. A real job pays!
I double-checked; players in the Arena league do get paid.
It seems like you don't think any of our players could make it in the Arena league.

BOOM

These young men don't need Arena league. Im guessing they all will have their degrees and go out and become very successful businessmen.
So you don't think any of them have the skills to make it in the Arena league?

Is there anyone on the current Zip's roster who might be able to make it in Arena football (not necessarily as a starter, but just able to make the roster)?

Turns out it was the fault of UoA for hiding the fact that they don't have a petroleum engineering program.

I have a feeling the Zips may pick up a win today; although it may just be gas.
Apparently it was just gas.
Close, but no cigar.

At first I thought this was a sick joke, but I checked it out and those idiots have actually named this goof the interim head coach.
I wish him all the success in his new position that he enjoyed while at Akron.

So does it say anything about his NFL career?
No. It focuses on the joy he derived from cooking and his academic performance in junior high school.

Was tracking todays 13-1 route at the hands of Central Michigan on D1 baseball.
I finally noticed that Akron may be the only D1 team that does not host the box score for home games on the D1 baseball site.
Kind of Bush league. Are we saving a boatload of money by not providing the box score info for home games?
According to the box score hosted by Central Michigan a whopping 47 spectators were in attendance for todays game.
Sounds like folks are really glad to have Zips baseball back.
What's going on?
Hey! We jumped another 6 spots up the RPI. Losing to D1 teams seems to be better in this regard than beating D2 and D3 teams.

Sometimes it aint about the play its the principal . I don't believe the coaches or just a coach at any of the schools this young man attended were forth-rite about his abilities.
Or maybe, once they saw him in person, they were.

I was there but the only thing I remember is the kick. I was thinking it was later in the season and frigid cold but obviously I'm confusing it with a different game. I also don't remember what happened with DA in the NFL after being drafted... did he make a team and get any FG's?
After an exhaustive search I came up with:

I have to go rest now.

I think if the players and staff have a good summer. Get kids to camps and grind it out I think they can surprise in the fall. Now I’m not saying win 8-9 games but at least compete for 6 that should be the goal.
Camp Y-NOAH is close by and they can taylor the players camping experience to fit their needs.

I feel bad for the young man because it seems some coach or coach's have not been forthcoming with the boys abilities.
Yes, that's it - it's the coaches fault.

I think he will enjoy it at Harding and expect him to have a positive impact on the teams performance.
Interestingly, I'm certain that their coach and athletic director will never have any serious disagreements; any disagreements for that matter since both positions are held by the same individual.

I will kind of believe it when I see his name on the Zip's roster.
