You gotta do what ya gotta do, but I do wonder if there might have been one less score this past Sat. with Boxen at DT. Glad to hear there is no injury.
-
I might be missing a report on Boxen somewhere, but I'd like to know of his status for the rest of the year. Hauser looks to be out indefinitely with that brace or plastic cast on his leg, but I have not heard anything on him either.

This is THE game to attend for fans in NE Ohio this weekend. Weather should be great and the game should be hard hitting and full of exciting plays. Both teams are well coached and full of talent. Get that dadgum grill going (winner cooks the largest carcass) prior to the game and FIRE UP! We got a game boys! Welcome App State, let's keep this series going. Maybe there'll even be a sasquatch sighting (App St mascot?).

I'm surprised Andrew Hauser is not listed as injured after this game. it appeared that he either sprained or broke his ankle.

Guiser had a blocked punt and a brutal come back block on the same play to spring the TD return, plus an interception. Very good coming up on run plays too. We did not have 3 linebackers in most of the day and they still put up a lot of passing yards. Hope had trouble all day with the 6"7" receiver Marshall had. Despite giving so many yards I still think the D played fairly well in a very hard hitting game, but the Offense shined.

Shocked to see this score (so shocked I had to post it multiple times - time to shutdown).

No one on this board needs this crap right now. I'm happy you are a fan (or a disgruntled Herd follower), but everyone here has suffered long and deserves to bask in this glory. Keep following though and join Zipsnation as a regular poster. Welcome JD (Brookhart ha ha?).

Luxurious! Nicely called game.

Is that our stadium announcer? His voice sounds familiar.
-
Edwards also hurt but will give it a go today. Is Terry eligible?
-
I think losing our highly hyped starting running back to some unknown injury has something to do with lack of chatter this week. Maybe Edwards will surprise and Ball is listed as questionable so he may make an appearance. We will probably see some jet sweeps and maybe the receiving corps will pick up the slack on offense. We need to move the chains to win.

Agreed. I just wish our return game to AL could have been scheduled in November when the weather is better than Akron's (or should I say better than Kron's?)

I think we beat Morgan St. 66-6 for our only win in 2012.

Ya know, I thought of this same lineup. I'm not a Boxen distractor, however, and I'd like to see him playing next to Hamilton. Boxen reminds me of Nico Caponi for those that have followed the Zips for a few years. Copeland is very serviceable too and seems to play his heart out. I think the DL will be OK (now that Hamilton is in the mix), it's the offense that needs to get it together. I thought the offense would be the strength of this team this year, but they can't seem to find what works for them (hint - it may be more Warren Ball).

I think our Generals decided not to fight too much at the battle of Wisconsin - let's send out the militia and see what happens (no creative play calling probably decided in the coaches sequester at the beginning of the year). In Huntington, we had better have a decent game plan. If this is not a contested game (which is what happened last year), and we decide to just slug it out in the MAC later in the year, then I'm not a happy camper. We had better to play to win against the Herd and not just get better.

I watched the Pitt game prior to the Zips. Narduzzi and his OC had an elegant game plan that took what Penn St. gave them. There is always something available on the field to take advantage of and we could not find it out and execute it, at least every now and then, against Wisconsin (we had only about 7 first downs when our starters left the game). Like I said the Badgers are good, but not that good. Our offense left our defense on the field all game long (they more than doubled our time of possession). We can do much better than that. On a bright note, our special teams played well. Nice job Jeff Bowden.

Very surprised our offense could not move the ball. Whisky is good, but not that good. Lastly - they should cancel that jump around bullshit and just have a beer kase http://www.wacheese-gifts.com/P/118/BeerKase cheese tasting.

Well. at least one of their own lost $100. You just can't schedule in hostile venues, against negative networks, and against tough opponents and expect to come out on top, unless you are holding a straight flush. It can happen, but it is best to meet these teams at the end of the year in a bowl on a neutral site. At least we are not like that psychopath from Whisky. Go Zips beat Marshall!

You might want to give your daughter a break and pass on her game tomorrow or more likely just sit alone in your freshman dorm room (LOL?)

Predicted score by Oddsshark 31 to 19. I think we'll win by more.

Awfully close game back then wouldn't you say? We are much better now. Time for a little payola to the refs badger fans?

Do you work at a call center? 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I suppose next you are going to try and sell some bogus insurance or some junk.
