  1. After long road back, midfielder Ben Zemanski happy to be able to step back on the field: "It was a great feeling"
  2. It appears that Perry can't make use of the car for which he won 1-year use...until he returns to the States. Hearts star Perry Kitchen banned from shipping £180k Lamborghini to Scotland
  3. I'm struggling to find an all-time Zips Men's Soccer roster (only all-time letter winners are listed in Media Guides), but if you look at David Jordan's twitter account (https://twitter.com/godj03), he is followed by Sinisa Ubiparapovic. Not conclusive, but an indication that he may have played for the Zips. EDIT: Born in 1986 means he would have been 18 in 2004. Therefore, my guess would be 2004-2007/8. The archives on GoZips.com go back to 2005. Did the Zips really only have 13 players on the roster in 2005? Unbelievable that the team would only have 2 possible subs. 2005 roster listed (http://www.gozips.com/sports/msoc/2005-06/roster) 15 Matt Augustin D So.6-1180Silver Lake, Ohio / Walsh Jesuit 4 Elliot Bradbrook MF So.6-1180Kent, England / Leigh City Technology/Ashland University 1 Evan BushGK RFr.6-3185Concord, Ohio / Lake Catholic 17 Steve KalanMFSo.5-10165Highland Heights, Ohio / Mayfield 8 C.J. 8. Portland loves its Timbers... Timbers selected as Grand Marshal for Portland Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade ..."We want to see Portland Timbers fans turn out for the Spirit Mountain Casino Grand Floral Parade and ‘excessively celebrate’ their 2015 MLS Cup championship team," said Marilyn Clint, (AKA Parade Queen) chief operating officer, Portland Rose Festival Foundation. As part of the parade-day celebrations, Alaska Airlines will debut a festive, Timbers-themed float that celebrates its partnership with the club....
  9. Michigan Bucks The Bucks will have Brad Ruhaak and Adam Najem.
  10. AFC Cleveland. If you go to this site, http://tinyurl.com/h73tkyg, and check the pull down list, you will find Skye Harter, Jackson Crawford, Jeremy Pollard, and Tyler Sanda listed.
  11. With the 3 friendlies that are scheduled in Puerto Rico, San Jose, and Kansas City, I sure hope that Jurgen gives Perry at least one start...a true opportunity to show his skills. Perry made the move to Europe to get the opportunity, and he certainly deserves more of a look than he's received thus far. (I admit, my not so unbiased opinion)
  12. Really???!!! I thought the Z logo was unique. How does the trademark work with that? Who was first?
  13. #3 out of >200 is more than "good" my friend. (Glass half full here) Note that Barth stated everyone's aspirations..."national championship next year!"
  14. Sorry...My bad. I responded to you without looking at the date/day of the week. You could be right about the adjustment. That may be one of the reasons that the schedule hasn't been released. It was so nice in 2015 not having the midweek American Football games that I didn't consider they were back for 2016.
  15. Kudos to Jared for another great home schedule and for helping GCU get their program going by scheduling them. I believe that we are returning UCLA's 2015 favor with a visit to Westwood. Can't wait to see who else is on the away schedule besides Michigan St, Penn St, Ohio St., BGSU, and NIU.
  16. I doubt it. We've had American Football and Association Football on the same day in the past at home. They've usually staggered the times so we could attend both.
  17. I think we'll play Penn St as usual, but it was home in 2015. So, it will be at Happy Valley in 2016.
  18. The Zips were impressive today. Very nice win to closeout a fun Spring Exhibition season. Great talking with Eric Stevenson, too.
  19. Good to see Kofi Sarkodie start and go full time in the Quakes tie with Philly today. http://matchcenter.mlssoccer.com/matchcenter/2016-04-30-philadelphia-union-vs-san-jose-earthquakes/boxscore
  20. @GoZips I would point out to you that you need to clean up your act as well. Listening to you berate our Mens Soccer players and head coach last Fall during one of the MAC Tournament games until another fan confronted you was totally ridiculous. He did so in a very calm and professional manner and your response to him was continued negativity. I was happy when you chose to watch that match from elsewhere in the stadium. You didn't come across as a Zips fan on that occasion among others that I've witnessed. I'm not going to take the time to go back and review your posts and responses to which you are taking offense, but I add to the recommendation that likely cleaning up your experience on ZN.o begins with you. Feel free to call me out if you'd like on past negativity. I'm far from guiltless; others have called me out in the past for being so negative in some of these threads. I've tried hard not to be so in recent months. Sometimes it is very difficult when you shake your head at the direction that UA athletic department staff chooses to go. In those cases, I just try hard not to post anything.
