I can deal with the loss. We showed an extreme amount of fight. What I cannot deal with is the fact that those Ohio University losers think they've won something, and with a win against Miami tomorrow, will get to hang a banner for sharing the MAC regular season championship with us. That might be the biggest tragedy of all. Can't beat us in 2 attempts but they sure get to celebrate like they've won something.

I expect Carmelo to play great tonight and going forward. I think a lot of his early season troubles had to do with him coming off the bench and wanting to do too much. Towards the latter part of the season, Melo has slowed his game down and been a capable backup to run the offense. I have complete faith in this team to get the job done tonight and next weekend. KD with a week of practice to sort out player management? Piece of cake. Keep the faith, Zips fans.

Agreed. Not sure what the number is now, but at one point there were 139 people reading this thread, only about 30 of which were members. I don't think a few individuals' emotional reactions are going to sway people's perception of Akron, but what do I know?

not that it matters, but Dartmore is 2 streets from my house, and I would not consider this area ghetto. Count me in as curious to see how the team responds. I am not happy about this, but the team has a chance to rise up and win tomorrow and next friday. The ball is in our court tomorrow, both literally and figuratively. Let's get it done. Go Zips!
