I think we've learned that KD is unable to make magic happen. Two weeks ago he had less than 24 hours to prepare for the loss of a PG. Tonight he had less than 24 hours to prepare for essentially the loss of our starting 2 guard. but yeah, he should be fired. night guys. Stay thirsty my friends.

I respectfully but completely disagree. With Alex and Quincy this is a different game. Not saying we win, but having ball handlers makes a difference.

I was thinking the same thing. VCU is a great team. They ran out to a 25 point lead by shooting 61% and making us play their game. Who's to say we can't do the same thing? We are a good team, too. The first two minutes will define the remainder of the game. Show some fight.

as frustating as it is right now, I refuse to lose faith. I know VCU is worlds better than MAC teams, but if we can dominate the second half on the inside, we just have to start digging into the lead slowly.

Zips need to be within 5 at the half. Keep it up on defense and keep taking it inside!!!

look what happens with VCU misses. Our defense is key the rest of the way. There are no 15 point shots. we have to relax and get a point or two at a time.

I missed my 14 see Davidson's upset over 3 seed Marquette by 1 point. Davidson had the game where they wanted it but Marquette finished on a 13-5 run to win by 1. d'oh!

agreed, that was a great article. here's a telling line I think I kind of take it for granted that KD is our coach. He is an incredible mentor and an incredible coach. He helped mend arguably one of the greatest players of all time. Not bad for a baseball player.

this game is going to come down to strengths and weaknesses. While VCU averages 19.9 opponent turnovers a game, they also commit 19.9 fouls a game(good enough for #313 out of 347 D1 schools). Zips force opponents to commit 19 fouls a game, which earns them #66 in the country at doing so. Like Keith said, if we can get the ball inside, we have a good chance. We'll see what happens.
