Offensively, I don't think their size will play into effect much. Our style of play is quick passing with multiple guys getting looks. The only one that may find it difficult is Nagbe as he may be undersized to their defenders. I find it hard to believe that Teal will be smaller than any of their defenders. I still think we hold the edge in skill by quite a bit.It will be interesting to see how this one turns out. I'll go with 2-1 Zippers.

I am pretty pleased with the announcing actually. As am I pleased with our play. We seem to be doing a pretty good job playing our game. I hope we can get a goal before halftime.

I know they want to keep the team safe but why weren't you guys allowed on the field?! Last game of the year at the Pouch and possibly the last game ever on that field.I dont know, it was pretty lame. The cop im talking about was a real jerk about it too, he basically tried to start a fight with me. After i left the field of play he kept staring me down and yelling things to me, it was unbelieveable.I'm not going to hate on the cop(s) as they are U of A cops just being told what to do. They do an amazing job for the University.I'm more confused with the policy.

A pointy ball field is 53 yards wide; a soccer field is at least 70 yards.yeah I played soccer my whole life, including quite a few games in football stadiums. There should be enough room on both sides of the field for the proper width.

I asked that question myself. I guess that the answer was that they wanted a "more intimate" venue for soccer. The info would be to large and never fill close enough to capacity.I also asked why they couldn't just use the info for post-season or high profile matches where the stadium could fill up more.Then someone said they could have, but the lines and markings on the current field wont accommodate the game.So I guess perhaps it's a little lack of fore-sightterrible excuse IMO. We have the #1 ranked soccer team in the country.All it would take is one phone call a couple weeks in advance to have the proper lines added.

surprised to see the fence already removed. Seems like someone could have easy access to the field. I haven't ventured over there, but I haven't seen any additional fencing put up to keep people out.

9k is very generous but I don't think 5k is inaccurate. The GA side had maybe 1500 people and I would say 3500 reserved were there. I was actually impressed with the size of the reserved crowd. You could tell they paid more for their tickets

you didn't look hard enough.I don't sit with the student section even though I am an Akron student. I sit in GA with my parents who are season ticket holders. If you looked in the student section next to the band I think there were about 10 rowdies and I am being very generous. Pretty pathetic and IMO seeing that made me glad I don't associate with the rowdies.

probably about 50 students. But it's not like you have to be on campus in order to go to the game. I live an hour away with my parents and I will be there.
