I am happy to report that last week's leading rusher, DeVoe Torrence, will be getting the bulk of the carries this weekend in Mount Pleasant.I voted for the RB situation but now I'm wishing I hadn't lol. I have been on the DT bandwagon since last year, so I'm glad to see that he will be getting his due time.

I guess is makes sense to update this thread with a couple new shots.I posted these of the Info in the other thread but I should probably post them here as well.and here's one I took last night of good old Buchtel Hall

Wow, I'm surprised to not see McClanahan's name mentioned at all. I hope he steps up this year.I liked the article. I thought it was well written. I'm excited about our depth this year.

Miami (with Roethlisberger) finished at #10, BG was at #23 (and NI at #29)Marshall was 24th in 2002.Toldeo just missed in 2005 at #26.Bowling Green and NI were close in 2004 (#27 and #29 respectively).No one since 2005 has even finished in the Others Receiving Votes category except Ball State last year (#32).Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm 90% sure BSU was around 12th in the nation last year going into the MACC.

There are more problems on that grassy hill than just not having students in the stands.First off, the slope is too steep. Yesterday a poor sorority girl was walking down in flip flops and slipped on the moisture that was on it. She fell and broke her leg.The atmosphere there is too relaxed. I watched the first half from GA with my parents and I was able to pound the stands with my feet on third downs and I felt comfortable making noise and getting rowdy. On the hill where I sat for the second half with my gf, the atmosphere is completely different. I couldn't make noise on third down with my feet. And if I yelled I would feel like an imbecile.In order for the grass to be useful they need to lower the slope so people can stand all the way down it and make noise.

I know we lost and all but I still was on hand with my camera and I have some shots to share. More: #10 is the default ball carrier. However, he can't get to the outside fast enough, and can't escape tackles. How about we give #25 (that's Torrence for those without a roster) more than two carries per game? He had the only long run of the game, and led Akron in rushing despite carrying the ball only his allocated two times.Rodgers threw to #1 more often than anyone, and I suspect he was the primary receiver on every pass beyond the line of scrimmage. Unfortunately, Matt overthrew him two or three times (maybe more), and a couple of those were picked. He was wide open on the ball that tipped off his finger and was INT'ed.I DO agree, after watching on TV that Indiana was stronger and quicker across the field. However, the Hoos were also able to adjust to most everything Akron did, while Akron was unable to change at all. IU defeated Akron on the field, and on the sideline and in the booth.Thank you. This kid is miles ahead of our other backs. He was committed to the Bucks, where his brother Devon currently plays, yet Brookhart and the other coaches don't see the talent behind him. I hope the reason he doesn't get a lot of carries is because he is young. otherwise this is bull.

It was funny because like I told my dad after the game, after the first half, I was thinking the Zips could possibly run the table in the MAC. However, at the end of the game, I would be suprised if we went .500 in conference play. Disgusting.

Wackerly his backup,you've got to be kidding me. Has anybody seen the credentials Nicely has? All Ohio in football as well as baseball and lettered in basketball also. It sucks maybe having to not redshirt him but hey look at all the other true freshmen playing in the country. Bottom line is the Coaching staff will play the best guy. My close source just let me know about this. You guys are fast!However this same source has said in the past that the offense looks more comfortable with Matt in the backfield. He also says that Matt's shoulder has been bugging him so keep an eye on that.I was super impressed with him last week. Let's hope he can grit it out and play well.Also, Jared Wackerly should be Rodger's backup.

Which happened first: Bowser TD or students moving onto the grass?Well I know the students moved to the grass early in the game but were kicked off, only to be let back on. So I'm not sure.The crowd looks too large for it to be the third quarter but I know for sure students were on the grass then.

Guys, this guy is right...After all, after our first game, we started out 0-1 which ties our worst start in UA football history. This must mean that this is the worst UA football team we've ever had right? Boy, it's gonna suck for the hoo ha's to lose to the worst football team UA's ever had.

I hate this policy for the soccer game. I am not a casual fan, but I am not a rowdie. I never have had the desire to join and be a part of them. While I enjoy what they do, it is just not for me.That being said, I love soccer and I would love to go to this game. I work until about 4 and I think I might head up there immediately after. So, sorry rowdies but you're only going to have 999 spots.I should also mention that I won't be behind the goal. I am perfectly content in standing next to the grandstands or somewhere off to the side to witness the game. I do not need a seat.

It was definitely awesome. It was almost surreal to be there on campus for a football game.The student entrance was atrocious. There was a massive amount of cutting and it took about a half hour to get in. I hope they figure something better out next week.I had my camera on hand and have about 130 pictures to go through. Well, the fireworks are actually still going on yet I'm here giving you guys an exclusive look at some fireworks ceremonies being tested at the Info. It truly is a sight to behold, even at this distance. I hope to see some fireworks on the field tomorrow.
