At least we will have options. And depth. If he isn't all-MAC it's fine, but you see what happens when you're stretched thin now. With two starters projected to be maybe third string next year, you see what we're working with now.

Other than Clemson - 2019 and beyond scheduling looks a lot like how I'd draw it up if it were up to me. I'd replace Clemson with a Duke or UNC if we're looking for an ACC roadie in that area. All in all I like

We've had guys kicked off the team for a year and reinstated, Brett McKnight was suspended half a year if I remember correctly. Cotton missed two games and made some faces at their bench and did some trash talking. It'll be okay.

Hopefully we'll catch a flat WMU team after that performance.
As bad as we were as a whole this year on more of a macro level - we were in so many game with top MAC teams this year and just couldn't pull it off when you start to look at things under a microscope. Odds are slimmer than they've ever been in my time as a Zips fan, but the MAC stinks out loud this year, so who knows?

E was on a nice track, same with Sayles. I'd probably go with Cotton.. He didn't look much like he belonged at first and came into his own as the year went. Now if he could just stay healthy and out of trouble

I think that decline that people are excluding from their "narrative" might coincidentally coincide with 2 of our 3 big men on scholarship going out for the year.

I think he's done a fine job keeping this team engaged and fighting hard despite everything going on. A lot of teams would have packed it in. See: Pitt. It's obvious they're giving it all, but they just don't have the horses to finish teams off.
