Not sure if RB coach, or the 10th assistant spot that the NCAA created this year. I don't think I've seen us hire the extra coach yet, unless I missed it.

I follow since DK Pittsburgh Sports covers them so well. Duquesne is back in action Saturday at 24th-ranked Rhode Island
Chris Mueller wrote an very informative piece the other day. He does a great job. I'm jealous.
Mueller resigned from DK today after the Deadspin article came out

Let's put it this way, when the CBA went back to Friday classes my last year, I don't know a student who liked it.
-
CBA didn't have Friday classes when I was there either.

This sounds like a gimmick/flavor-of-the-month type of move made in desperation to stand out in the crowd; in the ilk of the previous university president. I don't see this having any practical, or tangible change. Hope I'm wrong. I guess my question is: are there any other serious main-stream institutions that do this already? If the answer is no...we shouldn't be either...if we're to be considered a "main-stream institution".
"While this is a novel step for our region, a number of departments at major universities in the Washington, D.C., area do not schedule Friday classes so that students can intern with government agencies that day. In addition, the use of two-day classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays has existed here for decades and is a standard practice across the country. "
You complain when students aren't consulted, now they're consulted and it's desperate
"I was truly pleased by a comprehensive survey that we conducted of all UA undergraduate students last semester. With the assistance of Undergraduate Student Government, we surveyed about 15,000 undergraduate students and received nearly 5,000 responses. Very positive conversations have also been held with dozens of area high school counselors, numerous high school principals, and employers. "

True Akron fan when you learn to detest any Kitten. Remember Setty?
Setty, Basset, Kellogg, Cooper, Taylor.. they all suck. The only decent one is Simmons, he had enough of a brain to get out while he could.

This is a fun team to watch and root for. The MAC stinks this year, moreso than usual. It's UB, then everyone else. We're a buzzer beater at Toledo from a much different tune around here. And hey, maybe it's better to go through some adversity early as opposed to worrying about peaking early like we have before. Either way, there's a long way to go, and as we know too well anything can happen on a Saturday night in Cleveland.

I would think every poster on here is acutely aware of the Zips record and their placement in the standings. Unlike Buffalo (who has some games to give like we did last year), the Zips' backs are against the wall in each game until the bottom 2/3 of the conference settles out. I'm sure the team's goals are higher, but my wish for them is that they can get us a home game in the first round.
Tonight's season ticket has a pic of Coach Groce on it. Doubt that was a coincidence.
We're one game back from a bye. That should be the goal. Go Zips!

I just did the math for the last 2 Zips home games- NIU and BG. In those two games, the Zips shot a total of 32 free throws. Their opponents shot 76. How is that possible?
That's kinda what happens when you have one forward

I would assume there would be rules against openly recruiting and tampering. Sure some things will go unnoticed but I don't think it will be as rampant as you do

I still think it's Darnold

Time will tell, but I just don't see it being a wash. I see these P5 schools targeting proven players that are good enough to put a team on their back for a game or 2 in March and exchange we get above average MAC starters.
Like Kwan or Big Dog?
