    I said one of the best seasons it's had. I'm not sure you can argue against that. I think it's far from depressing. 2005ish-2012 was depressing.

    I heard from someone that was there that they thought it would blow over. He wouldn't tell me much, but I could tell he was hinting that it would be alright. Just said there's more to the story.. For what it's worth.

    If by rearing its heads, you mean going 8-8 during their rebuilding years, sure. They did it differently, on the fly. But they've turned one of the oldest defenses into a pretty young one in a short amount of time.

    Sounds like a personal beef with JT. I've still yet to see any great reasons why this guy will succeed. "Because he's not Tressel" isn't a great reason. I'm also a little sad you didn't ask any of us to get into the presidential bracket challenge

    Well said. Haven't ready many positives about the guy. Seems like everyone's happy JT wasn't hired, not real excitement over Scarborough being hired. Hope he does well.

    JT has worked here for over 2 years now? Or somewhere around that. He's been interviewing since 2012, in a nutshell. If Dr Proenza and all thought he's ready, then maybe he was the candidate from the get-go, but I'm sure it had a little to do with his performance so far, no?
