  1. Has anyone said it's beneath us?
  2. No offense taken. If I'm not mistaken, you offered that the current group of players are excited to play some more games. I was just using KD's quotes as saying otherwise. Some players might be amped, some, maybe not. That doesn't mean we should back out. It's certainly not crazy to think there are some players disappointed they're playing IPFW and not Syracuse.
  3. I respectfully disagree. I was excited to play Iowa State, St Mary's, Oregon State, maybe Boise.. Not this group of jabronies. The marquee matchup is a team we've already played 3 times this season.
  4. You're kind of putting words in my mouth. I in no way am suggesting they should decline the tournament. Just merely pointing out that the players aren't all that motivated to be in it.
  5. KD says in GT article "they'll be hungrier than us".. And to paraphrase" once you play in the NCAA tournament, you don't want to play anywhere else." I don't agree with skip all the time, but it isn't that crazy to believe they aren't gonna be very motivated. I don't blame them. I'd have a lot of respect if they came out and gave their best shot to win the whole thing.
  6. We can end OU's season again.
  7. I'd like to see a percentage of the athletes that graduated with a degree in general studies or criminal justice.
  8. What's the point in taking emotions out of the picture? That's what makes sports, well, sports.
  9. I'd like to add another caveat to my post. If he is in shape, as well. We saw the shape he was in while playing a D-1 sport. I have my doubts that he has stayed in game shape.
  10. We had no answer for the 3-2. They doubled the sideline and rotated up.. The open man would be in the far corner. It took us 8 minutes to figure out to skip pass/go for the alley oop. Hawkins had a great gameplan the 2nd half, KD didn't adjust well.
  11. I'd be okay with it if KD and all the players want him back. I'm not going to pretend I'm some moral authority on 2nd chances. He's no savior, but he could help.. A lot.
  12. Wow I didn't realize OU had that many seniors. Between the big senior class last year and this - that's a lot of turnover. Toledo will be very good again. If I'm a MAC fan and I look at that list, I'd be pretty afraid of Akron next year.
  13. Blocked shots, we were forcing things against Whittington. I envision many OU and Can't State fans in the past 4 years seeing "missed layup" against Zeke. WMU played a lot like our teams with Zeke.
  14. Our coach says otherwise
  15. Hawkins out coached Dambrot tonight. We had no answer for the 3-2
  16. Gulp
  17. I had a nice stretch of good grades in 6th grade, that was my last scorning drought
  18. Yes, I was remembering the great run of 2008 before Can't knocked us off. That's dumb, that page was linked from rpiforecast. My apologies.
  19. Sagarin's Predictor has us at 65, and WMU at 96. We're 3 points better, home court counts for 4.. Which I assume will be mostly UA fans. I'd bet a line comes out around 3 or 4.
  20. If I heard correctly on the UB-EMU broadcast, we had 1 turnover in the second half.
  21. My point was that one player brings his best when it matters, one player - not so much. I said a few times McCrea was the best player in the MAC this year. That doesn't mean I'd want him leading my team in March.
  22. McCrea can have his player of the year awards. I'll take Tree and his Tourney MVP any day
  23. Zips fans did a great job of making the trip North. Maybe the best pre-final attendance as far as just UA fans.
  24. It's such a nice feeling sending the kitties home again. On another note, I actually (almost) was sad seeing Kellogg check out on his career. The total anti-Cooper. Hats off to a great career, would love a team of Nick Kelloggs.
