  1. Obviously, I've yet to see an Akron game in this offense, but it sounds pretty similar. Quick reads, high tempo, run as many plays as possible. Doesn't sound like Terry is going to use the read option, but besides that I see (hear) a lot of similarities. GOD BLESS
  2. I watched Tino Sunseri struggle with this offense so bad last year at Pitt. Hopefully whoever starts can get rid of the ball quick. Quick releases are key. QBs that lock on receivers and take time to get rid of it struggle so bad in this kind of offense. If he can throw a deep ball once in a while it will really open it up as well. Basically, I'm going to be really miserable if we end up with our version of Tino Sunseri.
  3. yep, add to that the basketball, football accounts. I think I follow Zippy too. I get all the Zips news, just from different places, and usually repetitive stuff.
  4. No way. I bet you think the sun will set in the west tomorrow too.
  5. lolol you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's...oh nevermind
  6. Agreed. I don't have much interest in starting a freshman on a lousy team.
  7. Southern Miss is really good at football and basketball, not sure what you guys are talking about lol. 4/20 is over..
  8. Someone might want to compare attendance numbers between Pittsburghs AAA team and the Indians lately.
  9. did anyone else know Toledo is ineligible for the MAC and NCAA tourney next year?
  10. As a Steeler fan, I'd like anyone affiliated with the Browns to stay away from the Zips. We're bad enough.
  11. Yes, abreu and cooper are the pretty similar, when you take into account DJ's extra year. Abreu was a great find. Remember when he was just that guy we recruited when humpty left?
  12. It's April 9th. But my guess would be Zeke, Walsh and Gilliam. Who cares though, I'd expect them to take a few weeks off.
  13. KD has informed the team again he is not taking the job
  14. Dunlap just tweeted that he was told the Dukes plan to make a second run at KD. So I guess yeah, he's still in the running. Although I doubt Duquesne is in the running.
  15. Interested on GP1's thoughts on the process being mentioned in the first paragraph.
  16. I think KD is the frontrunner, Dunlap is right. Sure, a lot of schools want KD...KD won't leave for Duquesne. I think Duquesne should, and will end up with Orlando Antigua.
  17. Yeah if KD hates the JAR, wait till he coaches at the Palumbo Center lol
  18. Not a chance in hell it happens. Besides being in a better conference, Duquesne has nothing better to offer.
  19. Pittsburgh Radio host Colin Dunlap ‏ - @colin_dunlap Close From people I just talked to at Final Four, Akron's Keith Dambrot gaining more and more steam for Duquesne job. Far from over, though.
  20. Cooper's a great player for the MAC. But he's 5'6" and just went 3-20 from the floor in the biggest game of his life. I don't think NBA scouts are really salivating over him right now.
  21. Yeah. They won what, 3 games the year before he took over? Add to that the shooting and players involved...They better hire TJ McConell's mom and get TJ back if they want any chance of competing this year.
  22. When is it going to be fun to come to a game again? I want to see some W's!
  23. You're right but a lot of people were upset with his lack of subs after 3 games in five days.
