That was awesome.

Tumultuous. Couldn't ever decide if we were going to be awesome, or just hang around and hope to eek out a W. My second choice would be hopeful. One of the youngest teams in the country, and they did improve a ton over the course of the season. Depending on the schedule, I could see us losing 5 games next year. Just sucks that we have to wait so long to see it.

lol @ people saying KD can't draw inbounds plays. We'll just conveniently forget the call at the free throw line 30 seconds before that.

Gotta say Q needs to have the ball in that spot after his night, if we're going for 3. Otherwise, get it to the big man. Heck of a game by zeke

One thing I've learned so far. We're a fun team to watch without MAC refs.

Tonight.

Zeke needs to decide this summer if he wants to be great, or pretty good. His 10 point, 6 rebound nights frustrate me because I know he could flat out dominate this conference if he decides he wants to.

For the record, I think Chauncey is a great kid and a great teammate. If you raised him, job well done. I just think this isn't the way to go about it, but to each his own.

Same here. Can't say I believe him, but they aren't uncivil or filled with profane or anything

Chauncey had a choice, either play 35 minutes on a lousy team, or sacrifice some minutes and come to a great program. He chose the latter. He bided his time, and with Nik and McClanahan gone, he'll get his minutes next year. The only time "politics" comes up is when family members get pissed and cry to everyone about their kid/cousin/brother/whatever not getting enough run. He'll get his next year, on hopefully an even better team.

This is very true. I think UW would be around 5 point favorites, and that's the toughest test we'll face. We can hang with anyone here if the guys are up for it.

Akron was very well represented at the Q. I bet the MAC officials love when OU, Can't or we make the championship. The first step is getting these people to the games. After that we'll worry about getting them to cheer. Joe akron comes out for the big ones (Can't, OU, VCU, MAC tourney), we just need to do a better job of playing when the attendance is up.

I know I'll get excited about this once we start playing, I did in 08 as well. But right now I just can't. Watching the show of course, and hoping for a good matchup.

I hate when people judge refs on the number of fouls called. Akron bangs inside more than any MAC team, OU plays around the arc more than any MAC team. Our style is way more conducive to drawing more fouls.

I hope not

I thought we played pretty bad. Abreu and Diggs had great games, and that's about it. Zeke had our first 4 points, and should have had about 20 more. Really hoping he toughens up next year.

All the players are tweeting that it's a road game. Not sure where though. I'll watch, and cheer for them...but it's just not the same as the tourney.
