I played at Firestone today.. Thought I saw Coach Bowden and I wanted to run over with my Zippy headcover and say hi, but I didn't wanna run into some group that wasn't him would anyone (cough NZF cough) know if he was there today?

Show me a link where every player who's played here in the last 8 years never thought about it. I think that's just as unreasonable. Obviously LeBron isn't the number 1 reason (nor would I hope he would be) for any player to come here. But to say no 17-18 year old kid ever thought about it? One bit? C'mon man!

The thing is, Southern Miss, Marshall, and ECU are better than anything we have. The rest are probably worse than what we have. Very top heavy.

I'm also enjoying UAZips "well besides that" defense.

I think anyone that thinks having LEBRON JAMES around our program, playing pickup games, giving the team gear, tweeting about them...has had ZERO impact on any player possibly coming to Akron in the past 8 years is extremely delusional. That is all.

Obviously, I've yet to see an Akron game in this offense, but it sounds pretty similar. Quick reads, high tempo, run as many plays as possible. Doesn't sound like Terry is going to use the read option, but besides that I see (hear) a lot of similarities. GOD BLESS

I watched Tino Sunseri struggle with this offense so bad last year at Pitt. Hopefully whoever starts can get rid of the ball quick. Quick releases are key. QBs that lock on receivers and take time to get rid of it struggle so bad in this kind of offense. If he can throw a deep ball once in a while it will really open it up as well. Basically, I'm going to be really miserable if we end up with our version of Tino Sunseri.

Yes, abreu and cooper are the pretty similar, when you take into account DJ's extra year. Abreu was a great find. Remember when he was just that guy we recruited when humpty left?

Dunlap just tweeted that he was told the Dukes plan to make a second run at KD. So I guess yeah, he's still in the running. Although I doubt Duquesne is in the running.
