Hey, I like the staff. Don't get me wrong. I just feel like we're maybe over hyping up a lot of this experience a tad.

Beggars can't be choosers, and don't get me wrong I am impressed with the staff. But a lot of the "experience" we're touting is as a GA at a big school like Fessler. A good amount of the staff comes from bigger programs and places but are in their first spot in the role they are in now. Hoping it works out and I'm optimistic but I feel like a lot of the experience we're boasting is a little misguided.

I watched Shocky a lot over the past few years. He was a big recruit but never really seemed to improve in his tenure. He's still pretty good, has speed, a little size. I think he'll be good in the MAC, I think he'll thrive with slightly worse competition and being the top dog. He was behind some really good guys there (Addison won the Biletnikoff) so he never really was getting tons of targets.

I guess that I don't buy that there were that many FBS players that just quit football in the past. I'd buy that it hurts FCS teams. Before kids would go down to not skip a year. Now, they give another shot in FBS. However, there's not going to be anything out there with numbers on this so we aren't going to make any headway here lol
