    The main list has been updated. Hopefully I have everybody. I'm keeping Nick Johns on there as a JUCO recruit. He may be a transfer, but shouldn't have to sit out. I took off the Oregon kids. I'd be shocked at this point if they show up.

    Schools agree to lose money in bowl games because it's three and a half hours of advertising for a relatively dirt cheap cost. Even if you lose. The biggest thing is just reminding people that your university exists (and is big/wealthy enough to have a Bowl-division football team). Many universities report real, measurable enrollment jumps following major sporting events.

    I'm not sure Fickell remains in the good graces of the OSU community following his season as interim head coach.

    We need one more guard/wing that can do this consistently to really open up the offense (and the rotation).

    Somebody take the ball away from our 3-point shooters. Kwan, Josh, and Aaron Jackson are a combined 2-14 from 3 and it's absolutely killing us.

    This game should be a blowout win. Then again, I thought the same thing about BG. Need to defend better and continue working in Ivey and adding a new dimension to the offense beyond Big Dog and a bunch of three point shots.

    Highlights on local TV news is a much bigger benefit to the program than just about any form of paid marketing I can imagine.

    I think not playing a game since December 22nd might have factored in to the close margin. BG had a cupcake game on Dec 30th to keep the rust off.

    Beware if you have Spectrum (formerly Time Warner), they'll throttle your connection hard if they detect you connecting to certain streaming sources. A VPN comes in very handy.

    Really, the BCS ranking system (which included the computers and the established polls) worked pretty well. It's just that the top teams weren't in a playoff. If we had the playoff but used the BCS ranking system, it would be pretty great. The committee is the worst idea.

    Maybe he wasn't impressed by the offer list. To be fair, though, Columbia is an Ivy League school so this kid definitely has some smarts.

    If they want a separate playoff, they are free to join the FCS.

    I expect us to be favored in all eighteen games.

    UTEP would have been significant;y better to play, since they play in Conference USA and opponent's opponents make up 25% of a team's RPI (a fact that too many on here like to ignore, just like how the opponent's actual RPI rank has no direct bearing on how much or how little they affect your own team's rank).
