    Copied from a Rowdies email: Men's Basketball vs Coppin ST 7 pm WHITE OUT!!! Everyone wear WHITE! Bring toilet paper to throw onto the court after the first point is scored! Has marketing done anything to notify the regular fans that it's a white out, or that we plan to TP the JAR?

    This is why the MAC can't have nice things.

    Playing Creighton and Gonzaga in the span of a week, both on the road, is ideal for this team to find out what they're really made of. Even with Coppin State in between, it's a tougher stretch than they'll ever face in the MAC. Having Coppin State even lets them have an opportunity to put what they've learned from Creighton into practice before facing another tough opponent.

    The biggest difference in this game is accuracy. Creighton is shooting about 10% better than us across the board. Most other stats are comparable.

    They can start by treating the students like they're welcome at the games.

    Only eight assists from Akron today. For a team that relies so heavily on three-point shooting, that is abysmally low.

    If we can keep our entire coaching staff together through next year, we'll be in very good shape. Consistency among position coaches bears the greatest fruit when talking about player development.

    With this game, the difference between a win and a loss is about a 15-point swing in the RPI thanks to the tournament format and facing multiple common opponents. Win and we're in pretty good shape. Lose and we're on the outside of the NIT based on projections I have done here.

    Will this be a good win down the road? AFA isn't projected to finish very high in the MWC, but the MWC is a pretty good conference overall.

    Ignoring the off-the-field stuff, Manzeil's playstyle is a concern. He didn't even have a playbook at A&M. That kind of offense only works if you have a world-class "go up and get the ball" WR that can make plays without set routes.
