    Kessler wasn't completely terrible, and he didn't get killed, so that's an upgrade over the last five or so Browns QBs.

    The answer to that is basketball. Getting a second bid (or winning a game or two) increases the NCAA payout enough to offset the revenue split. NDSU is a decent mid-major, but not enough to get the MAC a second bid.

    The Akron Marathon is happening on Saturday morning. Don't know how it will affect attendance, but downtown will definitely be more congested and traffic will be bad.

    Thanks for the recap. Also, I'm not sure I buy the line about Chapman. He's a better option in short yardage situations because of his running ability.

    Their commitments were self-reported on Twitter, but there hasn't been a peep since then. I'd put them as questionable until something more substantial comes along.

    The conference USA board is in all-out panic mode right now. I think we broke an entire conference.

    Still very much concerned about penalties, though. Too many facemasks and personal fouls.

    The difference is that they didn't give up after going down 21-7 and everything was going wrong with all the dumb penalties and unfocused plays. Instead, they stormed back and took control in all phases of the game. This is a team that knows they can beat you.

    Winning at Marshall is something that none of the "Classic" Zips teams under Gerry Faust and Lee Owens had ever done.

    First ever Zips victory in Huntington. Zips-Herd games are almost always classics.

    There are exactly zero sporting events being held on campus this weekend. Football, Men's and Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country, and Tennis are all playing elsewhere.

    It doesn't take a college education to be able to stream something to Youtube (they have a very easy livestreaming setup) or UStream.

    That's not how the RPI works. In fact, Buffalo's godawful strength of schedule hurts us worse than any positive record they might have.
