Ianello's twitter announcing the creation of a "12th man non-scholarship program". Zach Paul will be the first member of said program. Perhaps it's a new method of finding preferred walk-ons?

It's the same day as football, but coach Porter usually delays his announcement for a few days after. Andy Chiu signs his NLOI. Look at the video. How awesome is it to see Chiu sign his letter of intent? Usually we only know for certain after the school announces. Reminds me of the big-time football recruits who have media and throw a party.

At least EMU is relatively accessible, unlike the other michigan MAC schools out in the sticks. Zips are 4 point favorites. Hopefully we come out and build a big lead early on so we can let the newer players get some PT.

The Ohio North/South all-star game roster has been released. O-linemen Andrew Bohan and Dylan Brumbaugh are on the North squad. CB Bryce Cheek, QB Kyle Pohl, and WR Tyler Williams are on the South.

The 2011 roster is now up on GoZips.com, but until the Spring Game I wouldn't count on it for reliability. It appears they just took last years roster minus the seniors and put it up. Couple players who left are still listed, and some new ones aren't on it yet. Out of the 66 current players 32 are sophomores, 15 are juniors, and 19 are seniors. No freshmen or incoming JUCOs are added yet as we're probably waiting for Signing Day to announce them. This might be the youngest team in the nation this season.
