    HUGE win at CMU today for Akron. It's not easy to travel to Mount Pleasant and come back with a win.

    He redshirted and then had a medical redshirt, I think. That would make this upcoming season his sixth with the program. Maybe he's just ready to start a career.

    People are tired of the JAR, of a home OOC schedule full of no-name low-majors, and of never being nationally relevant despite winning lots of games. I have no idea why we didn't schedule YSU or CSU, Wright State, or Detroit or any other Horizon League team this year, but that really hurts.

    It would be smarter just to save the money.

    If any consultant reccommends FCS to a current FBS program, they should be laughed out of the consulting business and forced to give a full refund. FCS is a money loser like no other sport. The scholarship savings are only a fraction of the lost TV , bowl, and playoff revenues even for G5 conferences. FBS or drop football are the only options for any program.
