What's the reasoning behind this? With the RPI formula penalizing home games (0.8 multiplier for home win, and 1.20 multiplier for home loss, and the opposite for road games), why try to avoid road games especially when teams in the past have struggled when faced with a large hostile crowd? I'd rather have them be battle-tested. I do like having a game at PSU, especially with the possibility of it being a follow-up to a football upset.

That aspect of the offense was severely lacking last season. Hopefully one of the PGs shows this ability, along with at least one of last year's redshirts.

A big factor that doesn't get enough mention is the FIFA video game series. Thanks to the game, the 35-and-under crowd is more familiar with the rules of the sport, and also the teams and players.

If you're going with colored turf, at least make it an interesting color. Grey is not the answer. EMU's colors are Green and White. White turf would look amazing if you could use green for the markings on the field, and have a big green "E" in the middle.

I won't try and make the case that nothing shady was happening, because the guy that hit somebody with his van was from Bedford and I can't imagine that he drove all the way there in the middle of the night just to get a Big Mac.
