Penn State will be hit hardest by their sanctions this season, before they start recovering. They'll be FCS level in terms of scholarship players, which means they won't have much in the way of depth. Pitt is difficult, but Bowden has a way of getting him team to show up for the biggest opponents. Marshall is the best team on the schedule, but they're at home.

I've done so in other threads. My answer is the same as it always has been. First, choose where you want the student section to be, then put the student entrance at the closest corner. Then, rope off the walkway so they can't go any further than the end of the student section, and GA can't go sit in it. It's pretty damned simple, but it requires actual work on the part of the athletic department.

The biggest thing (and the easiest) is to simply enforce student seating. Doesn't matter where you put them, just get them together in one place. Don't let them scatter throughout the GA seats. Don't let them sit with the parents of the kids from the halftime show. Don't let them sit with the people that aren't invested enough in the game to get excited. It's laziness on the part of the JAR staff that this isn't already in place.

As for T-shirts, have you ever noticed that when the cheerleaders throw stuff into the stands, they don't throw anything to the students? No shirts, no miniballs, no anything. They're instructed to not throw anything to them.

This is already the case. Students just don't want to sit behind the baskets.

Today, the Men's Indoor Track team won the MAC championships, while the Women's team placed second. Also, the Swimming and Diving team came out of nowhere to win the MAC championship. They were picked to finish 7th out of 8 teams. Congrats to everyone!

The only problem I have with that is that everyone has black unis now. It's a trend that's already on the way down as new looks begin to pop up.

I'm thinking mostly navy blue, with gold, white, and bright blue (like the zipper helmet stripe) accents. There are a lot of ways they can screw this up.

This whole incident is stupid. From the hazing going on as long as it did, to the victim not treating his wounds before they became severely infected.

We already got new helmet decals and gloves (the kind where you cross your palms to form an image) last season. New uniforms will likely continue the aesthetics established by that equipment.
