It desperately NEEDS an article for zips soccer too!+10000000 I need to teach myself how to do Wiki editing. Its a weird system... at least it was last time I used it. If the university doesn't try to tackle it themselves, the least we can do is try to keep our Wiki page up to date. I know not a lot of people use it, but I know when I was looking at colleges, I would look at their Wiki to get more info on the University. Akron's is weak, to say the least. Can't State's wiki has a ton more info available... we need to catch up!Sometimes I add stuff, but it always seems to get deleted. I always include references and everything, I don't feel like wasting my time fixing stuff if people are just going to delete it anyway haha

Not sure if anyone else posted this...Plain Dealer Article Comparing MAC StadiumsThis was probably the worst article I've ever read. It was just this joker complaining because the press box, in his opinion, is facing the wrong way and he couldn't see campus and downtown when he was watching the game? He claims that Central Michigan's stadium and game day experience is the best and gave us a "D" for ambiance.

Looks like blue jerseys and gold pants today.Thats what I thought, I saw them warming up in blue jerseys and gold pants. But when they ran onto the field they had changed into brand new all-blue uniforms. It was a cool way to unveil them and kinda reminded me of that amazing Mighty Ducks movie from the 90's, when they switched from team USA to the ducks....priceless!!!

My family and I talked to a few players and one of them mentioned that they were looking at a few other schools including OU, but that Akron's campus was nicer and easier to get around (OU is apparently too spaced out). He also mentioned the stadium was a big factor in his decision. GREAT job today though. VERY impressed with the stadium and how the event was run. It was fun just to walk around and the fact that they let you walk on the field was awesome. PUMPED FOR THE MORGAN STATE GAME! GO ZIPS!!!!haha oh man don't let that jupitertwo guy see this! You just made a comment about OU and he doesn't like that, because it is so much better and nicer than UA hahaha

haha I was wondering the same thing about their uniforms! But I figured if we haven't heard anything by now they most likely will be wearing the same uniforms. I really wish they would, maybe next year?

So I see on the map the parking lot near the gooch is black. Which means its not available for game day parking. Does that mean it's just off limits to the general public because it's resident parking? I live in the gooch and I was hoping to tailgate there will a lot of people, does anyone know if thats allowed?

I mean teams like the Yankees, Browns, Celtics, Lakers have iconic uniforms to go along with success in sports history. If ask anyone in the world they would know exactly who the Yankees are because of their classic logos and pinstripes. But no one will see a plain white helmet and know thats for Penn State.

It's cool they are using the akron font for the yard numbers on the field. It gives it a unique look compared to the generic font used at most stadiums in the country.

this is exactly what i was thinking. It's cool to win MAC titles but thats nothing. It would be just like any other cleveland team winning their division. We've had really no other post-season success, except for the NIT. So until we win a bowl game or grab a tourney win, we are just as much part of the curse as the other teams!

Was at the Cavs game 2 saw the UA ad. Actually they were on both upper corner scoreboards the ENTIRE game. I thought that was pretty cool.Ya its really cool. I think they've been there for a few years, I noticed them last year when I went to a Cavs game. Anyone know for sure when they put the ad there??

Ok so I just went home to Erie, PA yesterday for the summer and I saw a Can't state billboard on one of our busiest streets. i mean you have to be kidding me, It wasn't for football or anything sports related, but I got a quick glance and I saw the Can't logo with the sun?!? IDK if anyone knows what i'm talking about. So idk why they got the nerve to put that up, but it ruined my day. I mean I was pumped when I saw the ad for UA at the Q near the upper deck, but in my hometown 2hrs away I still have to see sh*t for Can't??? I want to know how much an ad would run, not saying I could afford it, but I would LOVE to put an UA one there, and then one for football on the billboard above it!!

My truck is registered in PA and they don't require a front plate...I'm leaning towards buying this onePlateI think it's cool because of the metallic finish, but I really wish the "zips" was in blue or something to make it stand out more.

If Ohio State weren't guaranteed a BCS bowl with their weak schedule then you wouldn't see nearly as many OSU t shirts around here.Oh man u just pissed off every Suckeye fan with that statement haha...I bash their schedule on a daily basis, along with PissU, and every time I get a long rant from an angry fan saying that they have the hardest schedule in the world!
