OU has been on a roll, yes it was against the MAC west, but look at how bad we played against those teams. I guess it just depends on if the Zips want to win this game or not...

RHPB makes a big deal about their events, but I mean they are awful...usually comedians no one has ever heard of and singers who best gig ever is at starbucks. It just makes me mad that Cleveland State can get grammy winning artists like Jay-Z and the greatest thing we can bring in is colbie caillat. We have a 5000+ arena and a 30000+ stadium that sit empty during the offseason and collect dust. I know you can't have outside concerts during the winter, but spring and fall could draw good crowds. Speaking of resident halls I just found out today that the new Spicer dorms are only going to be open to freshman in learning communities? Okay first of all why do freshman get the best and newest living conditions? It's not fair to discriminate against us students who deserve to live there. Looks like 4th year at the gooch is coming up!

Well...I think we know how THAT one turned out. Congratulations to KD and his players. I DO get the impression that Keith may be using suspensions in part as a motivational device. At least it worked that way on Anthony Hitchens. Let's see how Brett Mac shows on his return to action.Yes I was wrong we didn't lose, but it was an awful performance. Congrats Zeke on a great finish, and I think his performance shows that he deserves more playing time. I just hope this was the last suspension for the Zips this season and that B Mac is back for the next game better than ever...

I couldn't agree more. Many a game have been lost by the Zips in the past few years due to KD not riding the momentum his players build. The way he runs things it's hard for shooters to get into any sort of rhythm.I agree also. He has a tendency to sub in 3-4 players at a time, which makes no sense. You have a good run going, momentum and chemistry working, if a guy is tired sub him out but not all of them. I feel like I'm watching hockey with all the line changes!

I agree 100% and every game it becomes more evident. Bardo is tall but he hurts us, he can't play defense. He is either running around lost or ducking out of the way when the opposing team drives to the hoop. This is why the guy got dunked on! Now Zeke started the game very strong, so you know what KD decided to do, put his ass on the bench, WHY? he had like 5-6 rebounds in the first 5 min and made a few lay-ups. I was sure he'd get a double-double, but you can't do that on the bench.

That's the Akron attitude! You have to raise the bar once it's been beaten. We won the MAC, now we have to try to aim higher.to be fair we won the MAC in football in 2005 and look how well the football team has been doing. I have a cousin that plays for GCC and have watched them play a few times. But you can't say the only reason he wasn't offered a D1 scholarship is because he's white, it makes absolutely no difference. Mike Alsott was a white dude, same with Toby Gerhart. From what I saw he was a decent back, but not really good enough to go D1. Not enough size or speed, for a RB.

Marshall, Zeke: 16 minutes, 1-4 with 2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 block, and one very ugly pass that rolled to the far student section about 5 minutes into the game.Bardo, Mike: 5 minutes, 1-2 with 3 points, 2 rebounds.Zeke is the better player. I actually saw Bardo duck to get out of the way of an Eastern Mich player as he drove to the hoop. He deserves to have his A$$ glued to the bench.

We could say the same thing about the football team season after season, yet we are thrilled to death at the start of every new season even though they usually end in disappointment. Why are we excited every year? Because we never know what is going to happen. I will stay optomistic with Howard for the time being.we can also say the same thing about this years basketball team...although I saw them being a flop this season

Who was defending Kool last night?I think the idea was "let Kool shoot, don't let anyone else shoot, see what happens".Does it scare anyone that both Pierce and Kool torched the Zips for 30+? That was almost unthinkable two weeks ago?Not as much as if they were on the same team. I believe Pierce had a teammate with 18+.this is what worries me about the zips, we have no one that will put up 20+ points a game, let alone 30+. We need big scorer, to put points on the board and draw double teams that will open up the game for other players. I mean its not very good when your highest scorer is only averaging 1 pts a game.

Too bad 95% of the people (me included) dont give a crap about soccer.I'm glad you don't really speak for 95% of the people even though you think you do!I kind of agree...Soccer is not very important. Football and basketball matter most. You yell "at least we have a soccer team!" and most Can't people will say "who cares? It's soccer."I have to agree. While I'm sure everyone likes seeing the soccer team do well, it's definitely a secondary sport. 95 percent of fans live and die with football and basketball. I can honestly say, and I think most would agree, that I'd sacrifice everything the soccer team did this year for a win today. As it is I'm embarrassed to talk to my Can't State "friends" (yes shamefully I have them). Today was AWFUL. C'mon KD, I'm starting to doubt.I don't care about soccer...but they win and never give up.
