  1. What if it's a "pick em?"
  2. If you want to vote more than once, just pick an email addresses like JZ's. mustangfan@yahoo.com, detroitlionsfan@yahoo.com, pittpens@yahoo.com...basically any fan of something has been "taken." Be creative.
  3. Nice job Jeff Zillgitt. Hopefully not a topic for another day. Enjoy the ride. Wednesday is HUGE.
  4. As predicted, Te'o runs 20th out of 26th LBs. A 4.82
  5. That is the proper link, you have to be signed in to Facebook, and then "Like" their site, then it lets you vote. Then you have to give them your name and email address. A valid email address is required to vote for The Lou Henson Player of the Year Award sponsored by POINT 3 Basketball. POINT 3 will not share your information with any third parties, but may occasionally contact you regarding offers and updates from POINT 3. Don't worry - no spam. Just hoops. It's not too convoluted for one vote. I voted. To submit your entry for Lou Henson Player of the Year Fan Voting ("Fan Voting"), no purchase is necessary. Simply visit the POINT 3 Basketball Facebook Fan Page (https://www.facebook.com/point3basketball) and fill out the application form as noted. There is a maximum of one (1) entry per email address and only completed entries will be considered eligible. Fan Voting counts for 1/3 of the total criteria for selection of the Lou Henson Award winner. The other 2/3 is decided by the selection committee at College Insider. See more about the award and College Insider's Selection Commitee at www.louhenson.com. POINT 3 reserves the right to terminate or withdraw this contest at anytime without prior notice. POINT 3 and its affiliates accept no responsibility for false, stolen, lost or misdirected entries. POINT 3 and its affiliates accept no liability or responsibility in connection with injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising out of this contest or prize. Entry forms obtained from unauthorized sources or that are illegible, mutilated, altered, mechanically reproduced, forged, counterfeited, or irregular in any way will be considered void.
  6. Link for your info? Source Under March 9th .
  7. This turned into a support thread.
  8. Any OU fan want to guess the point spread on the game before it comes out?
  9. Here are some guesses...very nice guy, entertainment value, low cost, dependable, knowledge of the school, I think it would be hard to hire someone with those qualities at the money being paid. With STO, mac sports streaming, apple tv, firstrow sports, I hardly listen to Steve anymore. I have written this story on here before, but I'll do it again for newer ZN members. When I lived in Akron I watched Steve's show on the CAT. He had this one annoying YSU caller that would call every week. I think he called just to harass Steve, because 99.9 percent of his calls were about nothing and Steve with his "ho hum" voice would dismiss him and move on. One day, back when James was coaching at YSU, this caller says "Jim Tressel is going to be Ohio States next coach"....Steve presses the button to hang up on him, pauses, leans into the camera, and raises his voice...."MY BIG TOE HAS A BETTER CHANCE OF COACHING OHIO STATE THAN JIM TRESSEL!!!!" Years later I was having a discussion with Steve and told him how hard I laughed when he said that, he replied to me "I said that?" I have seen this type of thread when Myron Cope got up there in age. Apples and oranges, because Myron was a color guy, but when he was gone I bet the majority of Steeler fans missed him. I think the same would happen with Steve at Akron. I hope he gets to go out on his terms. PS It would have been nice to see a poll on this thread. I'm guessing it would be 60/40 support for Steve. I understand the argument, but would still vote for him.

  11. My wife watches that show. It is pretty good. I think it's done from the same template that his last show was done.
  12. Nice find. Ten seconds in any photo edited software fixes the issue.
  13. Not that I agree with everything written, but your post of the year. Congrats DIG.
  14. I think the same sometimes....then I think, wow it's the good thing I don't live close to Red, Wine & Brew. Johnny, if you like Franziskaner in the bottle, you'll love it on tap. I know the Lizard in Macedonia has it all the time, I can't recall if the other ones do.
  15. When the program does something we haven't done before, I will consider it progress. Win a NCAA tournament game (that is the teams goal this season). Deep run in the NIT, beat a named team on the road, win a game that we are 5+ point underdogs. Our depth has improved yes, but I'm ready for some results. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, the rest is just marketing fluff. I'm hesitant to get super excited (although it's hard not to), when mac basketball this year is pretty weak. Back to the topic, if Akron can somehow upset Columbus in the tournament, Joe Akron would have to take notice. I think that would be a program changing win. Odds are a million to one at the end of February, but it's fun to dream once in awhile.
  16. Sprained ankles vary in severity. Hopefully it's mild, but keep in mind some sprains are much worse than a break. 3 Degrees of sprains If you have ever had more than a mild sprained ankle, you'll know it. Good luck BW.
  17. A family member (who I really don't trust) tells me he read in a Youngstown paper that James is suggesting to people in Youngstown that he might be in line for UA when Dr P retires. I found this tidbit in the Vindy back in Dec. which also reads that he might head coach the Browns.
  18. I would like to be in Tressel's evaluation this year. "So James, lets look at your first goal, did you have any success?"
  19. Posted already in this thread
  20. That should be a sign in The Pouch. _30 IN A ROW
  21. Nobody has been doing it longer than ZipsNation. Welcome aboard.
  22. Understood. Thanks for taking the time to offer your opinion.
  23. Very nice breakdown WZ. I would be interested in your opinion on two other categories, free throw shooting, and in game coaching. Please save your response stat guys, I know how to operate my mouse to stat sites if I so choose, I'm interested in wadszips opinion. As the year progresses I'm a little more confident in the Zips ability (Zeke/AA/BW) to finish a game at the line. The team still worries me during the game. One more question for you wadzip, what is your opinion on both teams records if they switched schedules? I find myself watching some B10 ball this season, but you seem like you have seen more Columbus than I have (two games). I normally watch Mac games other than the Zips, but I just can't take it this year.
