I wrote it after we played Tennessee...if I played the Zips, I would never pass the ball. We cannot stop the run effectively, we need to get better in the middle front of our D. When we do, you will see the wins start to come. Defense 101...stop the run.

Something tells me that you read the title of the post and that's it. Dalton has been nothing but great for the Zips. The Zips record combined with the future are the only reason why a few Zip fans think it would benefit the team to play a younger QB.

Two of the most interesting quotes: "...(schedule) is set up to get an at large position" -- KD I like how KD is aware of how many fans have been complaining about the schedule, and his rationalization for it. "...(we have) a good equipment deal, thanks to Lebron" -- KD Since this is a prediction thread, I'll repeat KD's "prediction" from the video..."winning teams win, and losing teams lose" I'm surprised KD didn't use the opportunity to speak directly to the fan and tell them to come out to watch the team because they were going to be exciting to watch. Missed opportunity IMO. I guess he'll wait until his post game interviews with Steve to do it. I wish Zeke had his own lapel mic, so I can hear his comments. I like his responses to some of KD's zingers.

I hope your right. Can a team keep that up for 40 minutes? I might rent out a defibrillator for the games just incase. Good backup for fans obnoxiously squawking at the refs too.

I'll answer JZ's question simply by saying "no." I'm not sure how we are going to judge the final answer though. Average points per game per season throughout the KD years? Some stat geek can probably look something like that up.

Since I have seen this highly controversial statement posted more than once here this year, I'm going to keep track of all the games the Zips shouldn't win, and do. I'll count all games where they are more than 5 point underdogs and end up winning. Should be a fun year.

IMO we need to pass successfully to set up our run. The play calling Saturday looked the opposite. We run too many times on first down unsuccessfully to succeed on obvious passing downs.

Evaluate the game from our perspective next home game. It really helps IMO. You get a chance to see all the receiver routes and see who, and where, the opportunities are. You get to see if the QB is making the proper decisions and if he has time to do so. Beer is inexpensive up there too. If I remember, I'll take some Polaroids, and we can study them.

Most the time the fan that is too close to any team doesn't have clear big picture of whats going on. It's happened to me before. I'll have my prediction ready when I see them play CSU in December.

Offense doesn't call for it. It's odd the two football teams I root for, changed this year.

Worst part of watching your team get beat is going to Lot 9 for an after party and watching OSU honks dance around the parking lot as their real team wins a come from behind victory. Disgraceful.

I saw a lot of good coverage in the secondary yesterday by NI. I think a lot of bad things that happen to DW were the direct result of that. I noticed this somewhere near the second quarter and would have like to see a play calling adjustment. Our first down runs were too predictable yesterday. I think I jinxed us by writing "I think our offense can score on anybody." Now I'm concerned with the effectiveness of this offense in NEO weather.

I remember reading this in Saul Hudson's autobiography (highly recommended & worth 98 cents), I thought it was interesting, and not well known.
