  1. Maybe we (Zips players) are like the 2000 Philly Eagles with the pickle juice!?!?
  2. The QB upgrade is half our offensive difference so far. If I had to take another year of watching/listening to ball after ball get knocked down at the line...well, I just wouldn't have.
  3. For those of you that are crafty enough to mod your apple tv. This option is always a good bet
  4. JJ "there is no doubt about it" Dunn made us aware of it.
  5. Sometimes teams get rewarded for hard work and skip practice to go bowling.
  6. My guess to the question would be, Jones or Jacquemain in '08. WEEK 2 MAC EAST DIVISION OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Akron QB Dalton Williams...Senior quarterback Dalton Williams (Coppell, Texas) completed 27-of-54 passes for 313 yards and a school-record-tying five touchdowns in a 41-38 OT loss at FIU. The five TD tosses matched the mark set by Luke Getsy vs. Northern Illinois on Sept. 24, 2005. He was the first Akron quarterback to throw for 300 yards since Chris Jacquemain had 389 against Western Michigan on Oct. 6, 2007. Additionally, Williams' 54 pass attempts were the third most in a game in program history, while the 27 completions tied as the 12th highest in a contest in the school record book. Williams had two TD passes in the fourth quarter, the first was a 21-yard strike to Jawon Chisholm followed by a two-point conversion pass to Dee Frieson to give the Zips a 31-28 lead, and the second a 15-yard completion to Marquelo Suel to help Akron regain a 38-35 lead with 1:53 to play. Williams completed 7-of-15 passes for 105 yards in the fourth quarter. source When we continue to get better as a team, these type of numbers will result in W's.
  7. Three TDs in Two Games. Like I said last year, if I'm a QB, this guy gets at least ten targets a game from me.
  8. +1, no one is going to pee on my optimistic outlook for the future.

  10. Still no money line that I can see. Over under listed at 57, I like the over, no under, well it depends.
  11. I hope hardship alumni get rewarded with multiple rebounds.
  12. Anybody see a money line anywhere? I might keep on eye out Saturday morning.
  13. Hixon caught three balls for 55 yards last night. Nice start for him.
  14. Ragging? Reads to me like he is missed. Wouldn't that be a compliment?
  15. George's last tweet was in August.

  19. I like your idea. I think I have a pretty good idea of the favorites for you categories.
  20. Preseason "football" has to be the biggest rip off in sports. Real fans would choose a college game over a 4th preseason game of any sort.
  21. Nice weather night should help walk up sales.
  22. Decent selection. Nice job to whomever. FYI I was speaking with a Yuengling distributor last month, they tripled their projected sales in Summit county this year.
  23. Will players wear it? Will they have a choice? Ridell has offered the Revolution helmet for years. The Steelers wanted Ben to wear it, he wore it for ten minutes during camp and put it aside because he said it wasn't comfortable. I think Aaron Rodgers uses it.
  24. According to George's twitter, Porter won't even comment on it.
