Did you get to see Brian Kelly berate his QB after an INT during the Big East Championship game?From the moment that Jacq made the mental error at the end of the half @ UConn, it was clear to me that the HC had no sense of self control or discipline. He chose to berate his player right in front of an ESPN(?/U/8) camera on the way to the lockerroom, rather than waiting 30 seconds and keeping it in the confines of the team meetings. The minute that event happened, I had doubts as to his ability to get the Zips on a winning path. -

Do they have penalty kicks in the pros? If so, he better hire someone to teach that aspect of the game. Nothing seems more important.I hope he understands, the pro's are a whole new game. -
Seems ridiculous to me to decide a national title TEAM game with a one on one contest in the end.I watched soccer for hours this weekend and never saw a goal. I think I just exhausted my soccer energy for my life.

What were the final numbers of the salaries that Stoops negotiated for they YSU assistants? Will those negotiated prices remain for DJ Durkin if he gets the job?FYI: Stoops got the FSU DC job in the last hour and Ursuline grad and South Carolina Run Game Coordinator Eric Wolford will get the job.

So I try to watch my first soccer game on tv. I figure I'll DVR it and watch it this morning. I recorded an extra half hour just in case.I watch two and a half hours of 0-0 kicking of the soccer ball and only get to about 2 minutes left in the game before my recording ends.I guess I'll blame this on my ignorance, but that was a waste of about an hour of my life that I'll never get back.

It's always some old dude booster to ask that question every time (Lee & JD) at those press conferences. I wanna be there when the answer is something different. How else would a new coach answer...."Yeah I've recruited all over this country and to tell you guys the truth, the talent in this area really isn't that good."This subject of Ohio Recruiting has seemed to come up every time we've hired a new coach during our D-1A era. And unless I've missed something over the last 30 years, don't we already get a good amount of our players from Ohio and W. PA? Why does it seem like some new coup when someone says that they are going to recruit that area? -
He seems like a middle linebacker to me, but I bet he can be successful at both.Does Wagner move to the sole middle linebacker spot or do they take advantage of his speed and move him to Will or Sam and blitz him more? -
It is sad that I'm happy about that comment, but I am. Choosing the proper scheme is step ONE of ten that Rob has to do to have a dominating defense at Akron. Good luck to coach Flemming getting hired quickly by another team. Go South or West, the weather is nice.I would recommend Ianello consider trying to keep Fleming as a Zip. He's proven himself to be a fine coach.
