  1. I bet I drink at the stadium if they sell beer. I bet I drink at the stadium if they don't sell beer.I think they should sell beer to anybody that won't fill the bottle with urine and throw it on the field.
  2. Pressure on the opposing team's QB.
  3. The Gnu Zoo Review
  4. From the PD website:Browns receiver Josh Cribbs will definitely ask to be traded if the Browns tell him they won't re-do his contract, multiple sources close to the situation said today. As expected, Cribbs did not show up for the first day of voluntary minicamp Tuesday because there's been no "meaningful dialogue'' yet on a new contract.
  5. Looks like they are working on the field this morning
  6. ...we do a half decent job of stopping the run and put pressure on the opposing quarterback. The rest will fall into place if that happens.
  7. Right click here and select save link as for the logo in vector format, you can make this as big as you want without quality loss.I don't have the FTR logo in a vector format.
  8. I'll have some info for you Monday when I get back to work. If I don't get back to you by the end of next week pm me and remind me.
  9. Click here to find out why Romeo plays basketball
  10. Hockey team uses billboards around town to market their brand with success
  11. It would be too much taking into account how much billboard advertising returns. Here is a better idea. Take half the money they spend on billboards and flush it down the toilet. Take the other half and spend it on scholarships for students. No matter what, half of the money will be spent wisely in lieu of ALL the money being flushed down the toilet on billboards. While I love the idea of the scholarship, I don't think a $450 scholarship will build the brand awareness that the football team desperately needs at this time. It pains me that we finally have a brand to market, and let an economically sound opportunity slip away. I know you like to see cash in the drawer at the end of the day from your marketing, but building a brand is not about that, you have to see the forest through the trees when measuring brand awareness.
  12. I like it. Remember the basketball magnet schedule/poster that had Wood, Dru and Romeo on it? It was done in the image of the Fantastic Four? Something cool like that.
  13. GREAT idea. For those of you unfamiliar with Don Drumm Studios click here
  14. I think you still have to promote your "stars" on the team. NBA/NFL marketing = success NHL marketing = failure.60-foot tall Dan LeFevour banner idea is awesome. If we had Dan, that would be PERFECT!Remember the ten story Joey Harrington banner in times square? Great marketing.
  15. I'll stop my personal crusade, but how many people here notice Ken+'s billboards? I do. Plus they don't have to be lame like Ken+'s. We can do something cool. There are good student artists at the U.I don't think a billboard sells tickets, it builds brand imaging. It should not be your only source of advertising.Creative BillboardsHow about the Exchange Street billboard that reads: "From Here I Can See My Seats at InfoCision Stadium"
  16. There's a giant banner with the complete 2009 football schedule hanging on the JAR.A giant banner on the JAR is nice, but only students will see that, the stadium itself will sell the students. Students can't miss the stadium now. Should be the talk on campus in the fall. We need something for Joe Akron. When I was going to school there was a cool billboard of Jason Taylor on Exchange toward Arlington. THAT is what we need. Advertising for billboards has to be at a ten year low right now. A billboard advertising the new stadium with home dates on it, or just a billboard with the opening date on it. Small Zips football logo lower right.
  17. 16. A billboard with the home schedule on it.
  18. What comes around, goes around. I'm hoping that a few of their fans were at that game that were at the MAC championship game when I felt like someone punched me in the gut. This one had to feel like two punches in the gut though
  19. Jeremy Pargo put down a doozy of a dunk over Steve McNees against Akron, eliciting the game announcers to note that Steve McNees "is not quite a shot-blocker.''Click here to see the rest of the photosSide note: Ken+ gets 3 out of SI's 'Best Undrafted Free Agents Since '94'
  20. Thanks ZB.
  21. Nice article."He also ranked among the team leaders in sacks (2.5)" STACK
