You can tell by watching his throwing mechanics that he is not a D-1 QB. He can hand off with the best of them.

Correct if I'm wrong but isn't Rodgers in his third year here. That was one of the worst exhibitions of QB play at the D-1 level I have ever witnessed. We should have pulled him in the third quarter. I'm sure the coach said after the game that our goals are still attainable. Let me tell the coach not with that QB. Special teams play was a wash. The defense was gased because they had to stay out there all day. I think JD keeps his job no matter what because he can say my starter was gone do to being an idiot. Bring on the Chippewas and hopefully we can right the ship. Go Zips!

After witnessing Toledo over Michigan,Central Michigan over Michigan State and Ohio State not winning against top ten teams, it shows how the Big Ten conference is changing. I think the MAC is taking talent away from them do to the facilities and proximity to the Big Ten school's. The athletes would just as soon stay close to home and have the opportunity to play quicker as opposed to sitting out and waiting there turn. With what we have here and the coaching staff we have I see nothing but great things happening here. Go Zips!!

I think it's Walt Harris and Shane Montgomery working with a third year starter that does not seem to have all the tools needed to suceed in division one football. He lock"s into one reciever from what I,ve witnessed. The running back situation needs to be addressed .. who,s healthy and ready...

The bottom line is do we have a QB that can take us to the MAC Championship??? We need to look to the Coach's to make that decision. The whole student body and Zip Nation is looking for them to make the right decision. Let's hope they can evaluate talent. Go Zips!!! Beat the Hooziers!!!

The defense looks good there flying to the ball..as for the QB play let's face it we are limited with CJ & Rodgers, they can't make the throws that need to be made to have an effective passing game so we'll run the ball and let them run when they know they can't make the throw. From what I've seen of Wackerly he's best at giving signals on the sidelines which leaves us with Nicely who can make the throws and has the athletisim and brains but may be to young, but I'm sitting here watching Barkley and watched Michigans QB beat Notre Dame being young. The kicking game had better pick it up or we will suffer.

Just got back from the trip from hell, you've got to be kidding me. Jacq looked like a deer in the headlights. He is a third year starter? pleeeaaase. No wonder nobody else offered him a scholarship.
