Key there is espn. ESPN midmajor recruiting updates are woefully inadequate. To get a clear picture of mid-major recruiting you need to access ESPN, Scout and Rivals. Even then you miss some people. I can assure you however, that all of the players listed above have offers from Akron.thanks you...of course, im new here, and i just don't know the force of the sources quite yet

Keith Dambrot said that at Zips Live tonight, that he will play nine guys at least every night, sometimes 12 players when he needs to play that deep(ex:Wyoming). I don't think they'll run us out at the end tommorow...we'll have enough bodies, just wondering if those bodies can play great basketball tommorow...that's the question...

ESPNU has him rated an "82" on their scale and has considering Georgetown,Miami(FL), and Akron.

Dontae is rated 85 on ESPNU recruiting and is undeclared right now. He's a SG according to him. He has three choices according to ESPNU as of 12/28/09, which are Georgetown, Miami(FL) and Akron. I believe he'll proably go to either Georgetown or Miami(FL) unless he sees something in Akron. Akron may look more of an interior team with Marshall,McKnight brothers,and ssignings of Euton and Egner(at least a balanced team). He seemed to be interested in guard-oriented teams(no suprise), and was wondering what everyone else thought...

i don't know...this is why i bring it up. We beat UNCG by 24, UNCG gives WF hassle. I don't know if WF is doing this for non long distance games during holidays as I heard that UNCG's next game is at home vs. North Carolina St.If we played a team from a major conference here, we would get bigger attendance and better atmosphere from ,for example, Ak-Rowdies, local TV channels, and so on...if soccer can do it in a matter of 5 years of bringing big time teams to Akron, then why not basketball?

Two tough opponents in Wyoming and Rhode Island before MAC starts up. Wyoming has a lot of youth and play very well in the first half at Tennessee and is a very good shooting team from the paint...can't shoot perimeter though...should be an interesting first half...Rhode Island will be our toughest opponent possibly the rest of the season...with a record of 9-1 and plays at Drexel(Dec.29) and vs. Oklahoma State(Jan. 2nd) before coming to Akron...here's who they have played: at Brown W, 78-57 vs. Holy Cross W, 92-75 vs. Stony Brook W, 75-58 at Davidson W, 75-65 at VCU L, 82-80 vs. Providence W, 86-82 vs. Quinnipiac W, 83-74 vs. Northeastern W, 79-76 at Boston College W, 80-69 vs. Fairfield W, 89-84 I hope we have a "soccer" like crowd for this game....

I wish i could go...no car...an hour away to the southeast of Akron...I don't know anyone around here that wants to go...trust me...i would go...and bring friends to take up the space(don't even go to college if that's alright)...only problem is ushers won't allow anyone on floor seats without bands...i know you got that taken care of...i would love to be there today physically, but i can't so i will be there spiritually..
