Hmmm. Didn't mean to do that. When I post via my phone, I make a lot of mistakes, but usually catch them before I post. Sorry. I don't refer to my alma mater as Akron U.
P.S. You forgot to use a smiley.
I agree with you AGT. A poorly designed webpage sends the wrong message. If that is the best the webmaster can do, the information would be better off hosted on facebook. At least it would appear in a style & format that people are used to seeing and not scream "homemade". I, like you, am amazed that the University is content to put out such a rinky-dink image. UA has made great strides in some areas but still lags in so many others. Frustrating to see.
Watching Pat's footwork in the paint makes me believe he has a very high ceiling as a scorer. His touch under the basket will improve in time & a lot of bigs never develop the feet he has right now.

I agree with Zipgrad01. I think the offense will be better this year, especially if KP16's arm strength can stretch the field more. All the pieces should be in place to be very productive. Marquelo Suel will be a big hole to fill but I hope to see D'Orazio back healthy and good production from the incoming freshmen in his absence.
I look forward to see how Jatavis Brown & Justin March come out in the spring. JB showed some flashes and if JM can step it up a notch or two, he can be a really good one. I would say (on paper) the LB corps looks pretty good. The lack of depth at DT has been addressed and if Caponi & Grice can get into a rotation with the newcomers, I look for good things to happen there.
The lack of depth at DE concerns me. Like JZ stated, Alfonso Horner appeared to gave some real potential last year when he stepped in Presley's absence. CJ James is an unknown quantity, but Coach Stroud obviously thinks he can get the job done. Presley can flat get it (when healthy). I don't have a lot of faith that we will ever see much out of JT55. Hope he proves me wrong, but there have been a lot of red flags if you paid attention last year.
Do you think there is any chance Moore or Lane have any potential at DE?
I would love to see as many as possible from this class redshirt. Hopefully the JUCO transfers can come in and make an immediate impact along with the 2 wideouts Tubs passed on. Wouldn't break my heart to see the rest of them mature a year and get integrated into the strength program.
There are some very intriguing guys in this class...Lane, Moore & Morgan to name 3, but I wouldn't want to see their redshirts burned unless they can make a real difference as freshmen.
Not to change the subject or anything, but did you get a load of Coach Bowden at halftime? He has lost a tremendous amount of weight. He appears to be approaching svelte.
*you come back to work on 2/4 and one of the first things someone says to you is "did you watch the game?"
You respond "I went to the game" and then realize by the puzzled look on their face they were talking about the Super Bowl.
Yep. Criticize the whole hashtag promotion...coming from a fanbase that capitalizes any ou sequence in their posts. I call dOUble dOUchebaggery on that practice.
Chauncey played two minutes, committed 2 fouls, and had a pretty sizable meltdown on the bench when he was pulled. Hopefully, cooler heads prevailed and he will be ready to go on Tuesday.
That's what I am wondering. 2 years of eligibility were used at Nassau. If he has to sit a year, that would make him a one & done for 2014.
His eligibility may hinge on whether or not the NCAA grants him a waiver based on a legitimate personal reason for leaving Kansas?
EUREKA!

Looks like Shelby was a last minute addition to the Kansas roster for 2012, but left the team for personal reasons. Anybody know if he will be eligible to see the field in 2013?
It appears that Jon Shelby was a Kansas verbal, recruited by none other than Rob Ianello.

DiG is right. It is a great time to be a Zips fan. The post game party at BW3 tonight was an especially happy event. It feels good to root for this team.
*you look forward to the next game so that you can spend some more quality time with your Zips family. (ZipsWin!, JohnnyZip'84, 2Ball, Zipgrad01, JimmyTheZip, GoZips19, Dr. Z, Captain Kangaroo & many other non-board fans & their families)
