Nice video. I am very eager to see the 2013 Zips and these slick videos are heightening the anticipation. I don't think they are very far away from winning, especially since the staff tried their damnedest to address the weak areas. Still waiting to see who will emerge as the return specialist. @JZ84, Did it look like JT55 was practicing as an every down LB or as an "obvious pass situation" blitzing LB? I realize this could be hard to tell from practice since the Zips offense can make any down and distance a passing situation. @ZippyFan As a guy who gets to watch quite a bit of WCAL football, it is very exciting to think a kid from the league might get a chance to play for the Zips. This is the first I had heard about Brady walking on. Thanks for the updates.

I think "lack of effort" is probably evident (to some degree) in every spring practice across the country. I just hope the offending parties get the message and renew their commitment. I am guessing when a guy like Albert Presley isn't working with the first unit, the entire team takes notice. I think (hope) the team will be alright. This staff knows what they are doing & they will have things on track by the time they get to Orlando. Chisholm looked pretty damn good on some of those runs. I think he may have taken his off-season pretty seriously.

Alfonso Horner holds the Belen Jesuit 100 meter dash record at 10.73 seconds. Sounds really fast...but how fast, Track & Field gurus? Denard Robinson ran a 10.44 in high school. In my sprinter ignorant mind, sounds like Alfonso has some incredible speed for a defensive end?

Teams with depth on the d-line have an opportunity to have a great season. Teams with no depth on the d-line have an opportunity to go 1-11. This staff is smart and trying everything they can to correct last season's most glaring weakness & I am very excited about that. Cody Grice, Nico Caponi & Albert Presley gave it everything they had last year and I saw a lot of hands on hips with tongues wagging. I can't wait to see what these 3 guys can do if they have some quality additions who can play well enough to give 'em a blow without them chomping at the bit to get right back in there because we are being eaten alive by our opponent. I salute the effort put forth by last year's d-line. Hope they get a big payoff for their dedication this year.

Hats off to Coach Bowden & the rest of the coaching staff. These guys are always looking to add another player to the mix instead of being complacent. Eventually, the results are going to show on the field. Perhaps sooner than later. GO ZIPS!
