Engrossing. This team had this old football guy hooked. First time I ever lived & died basketball. Sure am glad I bought season tickets because I had a ball. Now comes the sad part of the year where I don't get to spend time with my Zips friends until football starts. My wife told me only a crazy person would refer to spring & summer as the sad time of the year.

It is not fair to ask a question then answer it in that manner. Next time let the rest of us fumble around with it for a hot second before you post the ultimate answer. Slam dunk, GP1. Slam dunk.

It totally blows to go out like this, but it was a great season. After Abreu's arrest, conventional wisdom declared the Zips' season dead in the water. I did not hear many voices proclaiming that all was well and that the Zips were still the favorites to win the MAC Tournament. Before the final regular season game, I heard a lot of people saying we had no chance. We were done. They went to Cleveland and did what most said was impossible. Totally rose to the occasion. I hope that when the sting of this embarrassing loss to VCU lessens a little, we can all appreciate what the guys DID accomplish this season. Right now it just hurts.

I am not defending tonight's coaching at all, but the VCU team speed made the Zips look like they were in super slo-mo.

It's not negativity. It's piling on the team that you supposedly love when they are hopelessly outmatched. The wheels came off. The team is thoroughly defeated and humiliated. Wallowing in the sad reality of this ridiculous beat down doesn't help anything. My heart goes out to the team.

What an incredible night. I am sure we will be talking about it for years to come. You could not have written a more compelling script...last Thursday night a lot of people had this team dead & buried. Well, I guess there just wasn't quite enough dirt kicked down in that hole. KD did a great job with the game plans at the Q and a great job circling the wagons and rallying the team. I felt so happy for the team, staff and fans. Going down on the floor, I don't know if I have ever seen that many happy people in one spot before. Watching Zeke interact with all the kids who wanted his autograph was priceless. What a gracious person.

After being shut out at the brewery a couple of weeks ago, I found this at Buehler's today. I am taking it as a sign that the Zips will win tomorrow night!

I plan on being downtown at 11:00 with ZipsWin!, but we are not going to the Clevelander until later on when the crowd starts to show. Does anyone know when/if the band, cheerleaders, dance team & Zippy will be arriving? Also, if anyone would be willing to share what time they plan to arrive I would appreciate it. I don't want to miss any of the festivities, but don't want to be the lone earlybirds like last year, either.

I wish there was another Zips board so people had an alternative place to post. I'm not trying to be negative. I like it here, but this place ain't for everybody. I have been censored a few times, but I have deserved to be censored. I have self censored as well, because I respect the board. I count Dr. Z and CK as friends and I appreciate being able to post on the forum they helped to create. 99% of the time, I have been able to speak my mind freely. That's as close to perfection as you're ever going to get on a message board.
