Matt Almond, what can I say? This board is just like America. Rude. Civil discourse and decorum has eroded away badly in the last few years and sad to say I contribute to that trend every day of my life. It has become the norm instead of the exception. Don't take it personal.

The complaining about Milwee has been pretty consistent from the get-go. If you are saying that the philosophy change on offense is not due to Milwee, the blame goes right back 100% to Bowden then. Watching the Zips on offense is just absolutely painful at times. If you like and enjoy what you see when the Zips have the ball, God bless you. Diff'rent Strokes for Diff'rent Folks. I don't like it. It is not entertaining. At all. If we had 2012 offense or even something in the same area code, we would be sitting at 5-2 right now with some blowout wins vs. inferior competition and quite possibly looked somewhat competitive in the games we lost to PSU and ISU. Excitement and confidence would be high. If people are happy with where we are, great. I can only speak for myself, but when I am paying my hard-earned money for Akron Football entertainment, I want to see some #MACtion. The only calling card this conference ever had was balls-out offense. 14-13 games don't move the needle for me. I am very happy we won but if there is no entertainment value, I will save my money and read the box score in the newspaper. I know. I'm weird, but that's how I feel. When I think about where we are and where we could be, I get very disgusted.

I know I am in the minority here and I know I will get ridiculed for this statement but. . . I want to see Bowden win enough games to retain his job, but if he insists on retaining Milwee, he should be fired. Milwee has to go or I am going to be a very unhappy camper. He has had 4 1/2 years to prove his incompetence. My number one problem with Bowden is Milwee.

I will be impressed if the scoreboard will impact student attendance by 100 kids.

How's that working out? Maybe we should send out door-to-door invites to Joe Akron to try the Zippy cutout cookies. How much would 5000 dozen cookies cost?

Skip, It's a great scoreboard and all, but it's hardly the 8th Wonder of the world. Anyone who would come just to see the scoreboard is liable to be disappointed. Did ticket sales increase dramatically for the MAC Tournament after they installed the new scoreboard at the Q?

I have a great idea for the video board. Use it to enhance my experience in the JAR. That's what it's for. I'm happy about it. I could care less about what anybody who doesn't care about Zips Basketball thinks about it.
