Some random thoughts. Noah is / can be one of the best players the program has had in a very long time. I like Ibitayo, and not so much Evans and Kwan--I'm thinking they should get 5 minutes/game, and Jackson should pick up more. The JAR is the right size... a remodel would be great, but bigger would be a mistake. I really don't like uniforms that are not the school colors. Pat should never be allowed to shoot a 3 Can't is not so good (at least without Hall)

I may be missing it in all the "hoopla", but i would expect this type of night to include an auction of the uniforms. Maybe not? It would seem standard for any special uniform night at most universities.

"Blue" seat holders will show up or give their tickets to someone if you play a decent opponent-- that's an easy fix. I think the upper limits of attendance - sustained- for a decent program at Akron is 5,000. I think a renovated JAR would be nice, it's crazy to think that this program -- needs, or can afford anything more. The JAR is a perfect size--- just poorly designed

Pitt is the only good college team to visit NE Ohio (to play a local) that I ever remember....any others that matched the buzz of THAT Pitt team... in the last 40 yrs?..50 years? ... On a side note, I always felt Huggins would have gotten the OSU job (over Randy Ayers) if he hadn't bolted to what was a step up (to a lousy Cincy team), but the Gary Williams had not left Cbus-- Yates got canned at Cincy, Huggins jumped, and then a month or two later Williams left OSU, and the Buckeyes somewhat reluctantly hired Ayers who was an asst.

Absolutely false... few assistant coaches make $400,000. the highest being Jankovich ($700,000) at SMU... why -- no idea, but you can always expect him to be left in charge when Larry Brown leaves... because Larry always leaves.. i.e. Payne at Kentucky makes $350,000 plus a bonus of $85,000 last yr... The Michigan assistants have all had their pay bumped to around $200,000.... which seems to be the current market My guess is there are not 20 guys making $300,000... many TOP programs are probably in the $150,00 - $175,000 range

After watching tonight's game, am I wrong to think Bluffton probably would compete with the top tier of division one HS teams in Ohio?
