As this nightmare continues I can't help but think about the young men that are getting ROBBED of a normal college football experience. When I went to OU bobcats football page and seen the players in the locker room singing there fight song and seeing the comradery it's makes me sad that our young men won't enjoy that. It's not there fault they chose the great facilities or the coaching staff that had a fire and passion for the game and not arrogance and belittling attitude toward the players. Now the players are getting injured and busted up and can't even look forward to a glimpse of winning. PN7 has had his head handed to him so many times I'm sure he'd wish he was anywhere but here. No line no recievers db's that are Div.3 caliber and a coaching staff that wish they were still at ND. But hey nice stadium....

As we go into our eight game of the season we must realize that we have undergone a new coaching staff with a new scheme both offensively and defensively that we will go through growing pains. But as loyal Zips fans that we are we need to show patience under a new regime. Now that being said I guess the cupboard was empty and we need to look forward to next year. The OL line has given up 23 sacks and the recieving corp has dropped numerous balls, the defense as been burned more than my my wife's breakfast bacon. What we need to ask ourselves is who's fault is our problem's?

I just finished watching Coach I's interview today and quite frankly he's very comfortable for a team that is 0-5 now granted we probably should be 2-3. I know that he has a pass for two more years, but for some reason I feel that he should have a little more sense of urgency. Personally I think he's gonna get this ship righted. Georgio Bowers is transfering but maybe this is a start of an exodus of players that maybe don't fit his team concept. I'm not giving up quite yet.

After four weeks of playing bigger school's not including the GW debacle. Again we left points on the board, again we dropped two TD's and our QB got sacked numerous times. He is the second most sacked QB in all of Division 1, our DB's are small and are being taken advantage of consistenly. I'm surprisingly happy with our kicking game. I feel so bad for Patrick he's giving a total effort and has no results. This team is showing signs of improvement and we need to get to our MAC schedule and excecute. Northern Illnois will come in here after a win against Minnesota with a heavy dose of running the rock. Actually that is what we do best with our run defense. They can't pass the ball so hopefully we can make some catches. I think Pride can be a playmaker. Please move Jalil back to defense. Please listen to me Zips fans we need to not give up on this team and support them, we can win the MAC if we focus and have passion and finish. Go Zips!!!
