Take it FWIW, but 247's crystal ball prediction has this guy committing to us .... https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Diamante-Howard-94576/RecruitInterests/

Riak definitely looks to have filled out his frame some. So many new names, and a lot of potential. Should be a much more tolerable season.

Coach Mounds comes through again https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Keyon-Martin-123029/RecruitInterests/

Jatavis and the Chargers will also be in Cleveland next week.

He's prob been 3rd string up until this point with Jest and Baptiste ahead of him on the depth chart. He's likely to get more of chance now that Baptiste is done for the season.

I'm at work and twitter doesn't work right here, but Brett McMurphy just tweeted that NC State will host ECU at noon on Dec 1 if both teams are not playing in the conference championship game. I really hope we don't miss the boat on this make up game. I want a 12th game if we are not in the championship.

Redshirt watch (I may have missed a walk on or two in this and I'm only looking at freshman): Morgan State: Brandon Bischoff, Keyondre White, Daishawn Brimage, Devanier Floyd, Jalen Hooks, Zach DiLauro, RJ Kelly, Vincent Fonte, Logan Hawkins, Tim Scippio. Northwestern: Brandon Bischoff, Daishawn Brimage, Jalen Hooks Iowa State: Brandon Bischoff, Daishawn Brimage, Jalen Hooks, Tim Scippio Info pulled from post game stats - participation report.

Miami is a team that has seemingly been on the rise the past few years, has been bringing in solid recruiting classes, and is a team that beat us last year. Their record is bad at this point, but all of their losses have came against likely bowl teams. I admittedly haven't watched them yet this year (plan to watch the WMU game sometime this week), but unless they have been hampered by injuries or Martin is losing momentum, I'd bet this team is better than their record and one we should not take lightly. Us coming off of a bye may help. My initial prediction is the Zips by 1-2 scores. We better not take them lightly or homecoming could be spoiled.

One thing I reinforced yesterday - never, ever bet on Can't State. Toledo let me down too, but starting QB left the game with a concussion.

Nebraska down 3 scores at home vs. Purdon't. Their excuse to schedule Bethune Cookman right after we beat Northwestern/they lost to Troy because they expect to playing in the B1G championship game looks funnier than ever right now. Bethune Cookman may very well be their only win on the season.

It's early, but Northwestern is up on Michigan 17-0...

Update - now 4 scores. At home. Blow. Out.

Buffalo down 3 scores to Army.

Milwee isn't perfect, but I tend to lean towards him looking ineffective being due to the fact that we didn't having enough talent. I guess you could say he is partially responsible for that. I think this year and the year with Jojo/Lane were the years we had the best talent on offense. The offense in TB's first year here put up the best numbers, but I think that was more of a factor of Dalton Williams having 4-5 years of experience in the system. People like to say TB was calling the plays, but a friend who used to work for the team said Milwee was doing it then (and TB would signal them in and possibly override if necessary). I believe I've posted articles saying as much as well. We started 5-3 the year with Jojo/Lane, then finished the season with WR Tyrell Goodman taking snaps. Warren Ball couldn't even catch a break which hurts as well when you don't have depth. We seem to have talent with the starters and back ups at all 3 levels (QB, RB, WR) for the foreseeable future, so I think I'm less likely to cut him slack going forward if the offense becomes an issue. I think you are spot on about Van. He is 'just a guy' on the football field. Seems to hold on to the ball, has decent speed, and hits the hole...but he just doesn't create anything or make anyone miss. I would prefer Sands be the main back, but he also has durability concerns, which may explain why he doesn't get more opportunity? I'm down for giving the best performing young RB a chance to prove himself. Sidenote: I've yet to watch the ISU game. I feel like such a bad fan. Gotta get on that tonight!

Yes the current MAC media darling is Buffalo, Tyree Jackson and their WR Anthony Johnson (even though they have another who is statistically better so far). They have not beaten anyone of note so far, but are just undefeated. Temple lost to FCS Villanova and Rutgers is a joke. I'm curious to see how they do vs. Army next week. They also have us, Toledo, Ohio, Miami, and whoever they would face in the MAC-C (assuming they get there). I don't see some type of magical season from them. A good season possibly, but nothing like NIU or WMU have had.

Iowa State seems like a school that is good to do "business" with. I mean look no further than how they handled their South Dakota State cancellation compared to Nebraska. I think they probably think the same of us. I was out of town, so unable to watch the game but I am going to tonight. The place looked packed, which is impressive to me considering historically how bad they've been. @Cykron seems to rep them well.

This stinks. Larkin was the lone bright spot in that offense and an Ohio guy to boot. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/24783116/jeremy-larkin-northwestern-wildcats-retiring-football-due-spinal-condition

Sad the weather robbed us the likelihood of beating their butt on national prime time television.

Sissy's. Interested to see our move. Would love to play UNC or ECU if we aren't in the MAC-C.
