  1. Since all we get are still pictures, anyone have any insight on who is looking good or the team in general for spring ball? I plan to be at the game as long as weather is good!
  2. Good. From Arth’s first year until now, the one constant has been below average OL line play as a whole. Must fix at all costs.
  3. 3 schollies (as of right now) to reload. Lets get to work!
  4. Glad to see the powers that be are putting something together. Whether you like it or not (I’m not personally opposed to players benefitting, but there is a lot that needs fixed), play the game or fall further behind.
  5. Love the breakdowns @catdaddyp!
  6. I thought Hankerson was fine. Not a bust, not a star, but solid player in his role. I believe his stats went up here vs NIU. Thornton definitely more disappointing.
  7. More film* against Kentucky who it looked like they played. Incredibly athletic. Would like to see if he showed some flashes against top level talent.
  8. Looks like a hell of an athlete. Would like to see more against Kentucky.
  9. I can only look at this as Toledo did enough to keep Todd K, because I don’t see a world where Calhoun is more attractive. Good for them. Now can he lure any of this big 3 back out of the portal? Also feel like Utah St could’ve done a lot better.
  10. Average of $307k/scholarship player. Geez.
  11. Indeed. The logic makes sense, but big gamble for both AD and Dru.
  12. FWIW, Groce had similar situation in year 1 going into year 2. Felt like he was hired later than usual, KD took a lot of the team with him - current players and HS recruits - and Groce was left scrambling to fill scholarships in year 1. Because of that, we had significant turnover going into year 2 as well. Hoping Gensler finds his foundational players. Year 2 may be disappointing again, but in year 3 we should start seeing noticeable improvement if this is going to be a success.
  13. Maybe close to 50% new faces once you factor in graduates...
  14. Likewise here on donating!
  15. We would seem like the favorite for Harding so far.
  16. Just our luck! Multiple open looks for them so far too.
  17. Schools in the MAC either need to adapt to the new college sports landscape or fall further and further behind. Somebody posted that UMASS said the MAC maybe has one or two NIL funds. Nothing is going to change and we’ll never have the success we hope for unless we play the game.
  18. Early, but JMU is playing physical as hell against Wisconsin. Straight bullying them
  19. Groce taking interviews?
  20. At least in our “rebuilding year”, everyone else seems to be as well. The conference is still there for the taking.
  21. Definitely got away from us in the 2nd half. We could’ve played better overall, but Creighton could’ve beat anyone in the country today. Probably at least an elite 8 team. The luck of the draw of an annual upper tier program and them being on fire isn’t a good combo for anyone, let alone a mid major under dog.
  22. Thats what made COVID hurt so bad. That was our best chance yet with LCJ (and all the other quality contributors in that team). But agree, killer guards are the way to make noise in the tourney.
  23. 1st half thoughts. We are playing pretty well but Creighton is a really good team. Feels like they rarely miss, especially from 3. In my mind, number 11 is the X factor. I’d go at him every play. Get him in foul trouble and things will open up.
  24. Lets freaking go!!
