Great effort by the Zips last night. Nothing to be ashamed of, UT has a top QB and WR corp in the nation. We just didnt have the depth as a team to compete for 4 quarters, IMO. This team WILL make some noise during MAC play. Ohio, NIU, or Toledo. I'll predict we upset one of those 3. FIU almost beat #19 Louisville last night, too.

Whoever played at the stadium last night.. Firestone and somebody else I believe, looked to have a pretty good tailgating turnout. Looked more packed than ours..

You play to win the game. Winning this game would probably be as big, if not bigger than winning the MAC in the eyes of many people. I like Williams. It is nice to have a "real" QB working our offense, but if he goes down, I have plenty of confidence in Pohl. I hear Pohl actually has the better arm. Williams is just more comfortable in the offense and has leadership.

I watched the Tennessee-UF game last week. Their secondary is weak. I think the Offense will be able to move the ball on them. It is going to be very tough stopping their passing game. I feel Commack will be able to contain Hunter, but #20 on their other WR seems to be a huge mismatch. Could be a shootout.

Do any traditionally bad schools have great stadium atmosphere? You guys need to understand that crowd involvement/attendance will improve the better the team gets.

6 points in 3 quarters. Id say they did alright. My take on the game (only stayed for 3 quarters). Overall great team effort, but there were still some things that need worked on. Im feeling pretty confident with this team come conference play. DW is light years better than Ole Miss or "#1 ranked Ohio high school QB". Glad we got him.

OU is notorious for losing games they shouldnt. Id like our chances better if it was in Akron. Maybe the football Gods will be in our favor that day!

They should go unbeaten with that joke of a schedule. Got lucky and got Penn State at their worst time in the past 50 years. Even if they go undefeated, I don't see them getting a BCS bid.
