I can't imagine foreign basketball players make serious bank....seems like a lot to risk for a little gain.

LFG! The key to winning the tournament is having the majority of our guys show up and meet the expectations of their roles. Obviously this is X and Freeman carrying us, with a handful of others contributing as well. We we're firing on all cylinders last night. If we do it again...onto the finals. No show by X or Freeman or no show by most of the supporting cast, it'll be tough.

Nate Johnson did it again..

No NIT appearances, not NCAA appearances, and I believe no finish higher than 5th in the A10 since his arrival. The A-10 is weaker than when he arrived too as they are now a basically 1-2 bid league annually. He definitely took them out of the basement, but they aren't real contenders. I think I read on their board he's averaging something like 6-7 players entering the transfer portal every year since his arrival. Lot of turnover.

Pressure's on for Guthrie to get the new hire right.

What ironic about that is the A10 is a one bid league this year. At least he got his 20 win season. Last I recall, KD's contract was up at the end of the year. Wonder what they do?

While I don't necessarily disagree that Enrique isn't the type of shot blocker that Zeke or Aziz were/are, he did win conference DPOY last year.

Agreed @Blue & Gold, Cleveland State and YSU are two teams we should play every year, no matter what (home or away). I think there'd be much better attendance/interest than playing some random Sun Belt team or other low-major.

See them next week it matters most. Carry and Payton aren’t always going to play that well. To the contrary, X and Hankerson playing that bad was pretty rare. I like our chances if we see them in Cleveland.
