I know its a longshot, but how incredible would we be next year if we somehow got Quincy back on the team, picked up larry on transfer, as well as returning tree, harney, pat, etc., one can only dream...

I will be for sure making the trip, and right now Its just me. I'm willing to go by myself but carpooling would be nice too. Regardless, I'll be there. Go zips.

Chauncy is my favorite zip right now. While I bet most players are very emotionally involved and fired up about games, chauncy is one of the few that truly shows it. this makes him very exciting to watch, especially when he is getting the rest of the team fired up. Coach always says it because its so true: we dont have a star of the team, and thats what I love about the zips.

Blocked I'm about to just give up

Help me out Zips fans: I got stuck at work today and I'm here till 5PM. I thought the game wasn't until 7:30. So heres the situation: Watchespn.com is blocked where I work. Most other streaming sites aren't blocked however (mac-sports.com) so I need to find a feed for the game bad. If anyone could throw a link my way that would be awesome!! I wont be able to sit through another tournament game streaming off of the internet. It's one thing when its on ESPNU or another cable channel but the streams are terrible. If theres a bus heading down some cars, I'm definitely going to try and make the trip.

Hey, at least we're not called Buchtel College anymore. But still, the college itself has no problem with AU (which intuitively leads to Akron U) so who are we to specualte whether its appropriate or offensive. It all refers to the same institution. The University of Akron is the offical name; Akron U, U of Akron, U of A, or UA are just more casual ways to reference the University.

Says who? And Dave from Michigan sounded better too!! It's never been AU and just because morons call it that doesn't make it right. Show some school pride and respect and call my university by it's proper name. Haven't you seen the sides of the univserity maps around campus? They say " University of Akron: Gold Standard AU" Refering to the Periodic symbol for Gold which is AU. So the university itself is willing to switch it from UA to AU just to achieve the validity of calling themselves the "Gold Standard" :NCAAC: :NCAAC:

ok so im no football expert, so im wondering why we kicked off both at the start of the game and the start of the second half...if we deferred the kick from the coin flip shouldn't we have gotten the ball to start the second half?
