Egner didn't make the trip to Coastal Carolina and I have not seen him on the bench in Puerto Rico. What is going on?

Could we get an updated chart with Quincy and Egner updates. Would like to know what's up with both of these guys for '13-'14 season. Egner not currently on the roster. Quincy's done right?

For this team the key to being "Up tempo' will be having a PG that knows "When to go and when to slow." Alex has shown flashes of this and we might be seeing the influence of Melo on an upperclassman. If you can always have a ballhandler on the floor, you can control tempo better.

Do we want any possible transfers from Penn State? If I'm a player that wants to leave, what are my options? Many BCS schools have used all of their scholarships. Do I want to pay for a year to go to a BCS school? Or do I want to go somewhere that I can be an elite player and keep my scholarship benefits? Many different choices and options for these players. Where do we fit in? Let's discuss.

It's been discussed before, but let's look at the coaching staff that our candidates could/would bring. Johnson - Well traveled and connected, could bring both NFL and college. Stoops (either one) - obviously well connected in the NCAA. Narduzzi - Could produce a decent staff with his relationships. Winters - D2 coaches get a job that launches them to the next level. We've agreed that we want a coach that that is a KD (Akron lifer); but football, more than any other sport, relies on the assistants to make the program. Who can deliver long-term returns? My choices for HC are listed in order above, but we need to look at the pipeline and determine what is the best for the Zips.

All I want for Chryst-mas is another bowl trip! Paul could be the man to take us back to the promised land. Who's in?
