I was not calling for Caleb Porter's head, but I sure am happy he is remaining in the MLS (for now). What if he had taken the University of Pittsburgh job, for example? Regarding Jared Embick, I am on record several times back in 2012 as wanting the AD to make a dramatic hire. Some times have been tough since then, but Embick eventually proved his quality. But those two Plain Dealer articles by Terry Pluto really changed my perspective on Embick. http://www.cleveland...art_river_index http://www.wCan't State.org/news/story/45030 Also the arcticle on MLS.com helped do the same. http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2015/...-timbers-coach-caleb-porter-aims-more-history There are details in these articles of which I was unaware. Porter endorses Embick much more than I had suspected, and he credits Embick with Akron's past success.
