Evaluating our play this far... That's the first kick in forever that we kicked out of the endzone. So our opponent won't start on the 40 for a change. I would say that's a huge plus to special teams if that continues
I ended up just going to the Ford Field Page and got great seats on the 'Akron Side'. I highly recommend it to anyone still looking for tickets. Now for a hotel...
Sooo... I was able to get off work last minute. What is the best way to get tickets? I called the ticket office in hopes of the off chance they would be able to help but no one answered so I left a message. In the mean time anyone have a bead on tickets?
Nothing on ticketmaster and only a couple options on stubhub.
1/2 hour till kick-off. Looking forward to the 2016 Campaign. One thing is for sure, the competition the rest of the season is going to be stiffer than last year. Here's to rising to the challenge. Go ZIPS!!!
Over on all 3. Although there is good reason to believe the plan will be to get the ball in as many hands as possible to set-up for next week and to see what we have, here's to big plays early and often.

A few close games with P5. BG and Akron get the nod for impressive wins
......WOW. This has makings of another Gardner Webb disaster except Gardner Webb was actually a "good" FCS team. SSU is the bottom of the FCS. This is absolutely pitiful to watch.
We are hanging close with the Goliath football program Savannah State. I hope we get our crap together or we might not win this game let alone any game this season. This looks like crappy high school football. Sad.
I don't want to see Chapman in at QB the rest of the year. He has nothing. I have 0 confidence we can even get a first down with Chapman let alone score or even win a single game this year. Go with KP16. He is proven and can win. I'll add that the Chapman experiment is clearly a complete failure. I don't care if we have a single rushing yard by our QB. You have to be able to throw the ball or the offense will never open up for a QB to run it. Football 101.
I wrote this on Friday and stuck it to my computer screen at work before leaving. My heart clearly wants a win but there is no denying we are big underdogs.
