  2. http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/soccer-men/d1/ncaa-mens-soccer-rpi zips drop from #19 down to #28.... West Virginia is #34 Western Michigan is #102
  3. How much action had Tyler Sanda seen before tonight's match?
  4. http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-articles/2014-tds-division-i-freshman-top-100_aid34937 richie laryea at #26 and Bryce Cregan at #72
  5. Indiana really dominated Notre Dame. 10-1 advantage in shots in the first half. Notre Dame coach said they really struggled in the first half to get the ball into Indiana's half of the field.
  6. http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/the91stminute/2014/10/akrons-adam-najem-embarrassed-a-defender-scored-a-free-kick/
  7. Charlotte , #1 in this week's RPI played to a 0-0 tie with Marshall last night. Marshall is now 4-7-1 this year. Could be lots of upsets this year in the first rounds of the NCAA.
  8. Hopefully, Andrew Souders will be healthy and will stabilize the back line. WMU is always physical and will be tough. Northern Illinois on the road will be a challenge as always. The first 25 minutes against WVA should serve as motivation that every game will be a challenge.
  9. http://www.nscaatv.com/rankings/3678/NCAADivisionI/men/Poll8 #31 in the soccer coaches voting.... Zips are going to have to win at Penn State to pick up some votes
  10. http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/soccer-men/d1/ncaa-mens-soccer-rpi all the way up to #19
  11. Just finished watching #5 Indiana (#1 in RPI) lose 2-1 to a very good Maryland team here is summary of top 14 teams...from Thursday night to this afternoon take a look at how ranked teams did this weekend #14 UCLA 2 #1 Washington 1 Louisville 2 #2 Syracuse 1 (OT) Clemson 2 #10 Virginia 1 #11 Notre Dame 4 Duke 1 Seton Hall 1 #3 Georgetown 0 Old Dominion 2 #4 Charlotte 1 Xavier 1 #6 Creighton 1 Kentucky 1 #9 New Mexico 0 Villanova 1 #7 Marquette 1 #8 Cal Irvine 1 Cal State Fullerton 0 #16 Michigan State 2 #12 Penn State 0 Maryland 2 #5 Indiana 1
  12. they put a 3-0 beatdown on Northern Illinois on saturday night. WMU led 16-8 in shots and 9-6 in corner kicks. I am glad that the zips have 8 days to get healthy to prepare for them
  13. they really missed Andrew Souders tonight. Any word on how long he will be out?
  14. A friend, who has only seen them play twice.....once on Sept. 12 and last night...was really impressed with how much they had improved in the span of a month
  15. http://www.courant.com/sports/hc-uconn-soccer-gift-1014-20141013-story.html this has to be the largest gift ever to a soccer program? a former U Conn player donates $8 million dollars to U Conn soccer Wow !!!
  16. Wake Forest needs to start winning some ACC matches. Akron's loss to a team with an RPI of 60 does not help Akron. #1 Indiana's one loss is to Penn State so a win in Happy Valley in November would be great for the zips. Seeing Indiana at #1 made me think of their Akron transfers (Matt Foldesey and Phil Fives). Foldesey started against Louisville and Ohio State. Phil Fives did not see action in either of their last 2 games
  17. Penn State was the last team in the country without a loss that changed today as they went to Maryland Maryland is finally healthy...they beat Penn State 4-0 Maryland has a very good Japanese player...Enzo...and he has missed a lot of games... He played today and made a difference... Ohio State lost 2-1 today to Indiana coming into today's matches...Penn State was 4-0 in the Big ten...and Michigan was 2nd with a 2-1-2 record we all remember Syracuse scoring with 3 seconds left in an exhibition game to edge the zips Syracuse is now 11-1 and just defeated Wake Forest 3-1 on Friday night...Louis Cross started in the game prior to Wake but did not play in the game against Wake there is no dominant team this year. If the zips can keep improving during the year, they can surprise some teams in the ncaa tournament

  18. Zips will definitely have to score some goals on Tuesday night. Michigan really had a good week scoring goals. They defeated Rutgers tonight 3-0 and earlier this week...Michigan defeated Notre Dame 3-2.
  19. Like you, I will be interested to hear which defender moved up front....as Ruhaak, Cregan, Saad, Andrew and Dambrot typically play defense. No Sean Sepe in the match. From the live scoring, Nathan Quirk seemed to be very active.
  20. zips 1-0 at halftime on Adam Najem penalty kick zips lead 9-5 in shots and 4-2 on shots on goal Starting XI at @BGSUmenssoccer: Souders, Abdul-Salaam, Laryea, Gainford, Souto, Najem, Cregan, Ruhaak, Dambrot, Fenlason, Quirk
  21. I have to agree with BufLobo. Bowling Green is 9-2 and they have a win over Michigan. The Bowling Green match is probably the most significant MAC match in many years.
  22. Notre Dame came back to tie it at 2-2 around the 73 minute mark Michigan did not cave and scored a 3rd goal at 82;45...and won 3-2 in other scores of other interest...Bowling Green scored in OT to win 1-0 at Cleveland State at 84 minute mark, Indiana leads Louisville 3-0
  23. Michigan currently has a 2-5-2 record and they are 1-1-2 in the Big Ten. Tonight, Michigan is hosting #6 Notre Dame at halftime....Michigan leads 2-0 Michigan has really had an up and down year. They tied Maryland 1-1 and they tied Northwestern 0-0 they lost 1-0 to Bowling Green and they lost 1-0 in OT to Western Michigan Bowling Green on the road will be challenging....and Michigan looks like they can play with anyone
  24. going to need a comeback...this young team really struggles on the road cross through the defense, shot from left 32:32 GOAL by MSU Stacy, Jason (FIRST GOAL), Assist by Montague, Adam, goal number 1 for season. 0-1
  25. the win over Ohio State (#13 in RPI) is really helping the Zips. Hopefully, the zips can get another quality road win today.
