  1. Hiring him wasn't a bad decision given his offensive background elsewhere. Not firing him if they lose tonight is a bad decision. But this program isn't serious, so I don't see any chance of that.
  2. Yeah you can't waste a defensive performance like this when you're an offensive genius. Unfortunately, it's just offensive tonight.
  3. The other QBs probably need to consider entering the portal because they are clearly D3 level guys if they can't play over Finley.
  4. Hah. Pathetic.
  5. Well Finley is going back out there it looks, so don't count on it.
  6. Defense can only hold up so long when the offense is giving them nothing.
  7. None whatsoever. Was a nice pass to a wide open defender in the end zone though.
  8. If Finley isn't benched, the AD that's been very visible in the stadium needs to fire Moorhead before the game ends.
  9. Here we go! First and goal!
  10. And now Wyoming is marching down the field
  11. I'm ready to see the next QB. Thank goodness the defense is playing really well so far.
  12. At least Moorhead has them cooking in the classroom, even if the offensive genius is somewhere akin to Charlie Weis' "decided schematic advantage"
  13. Three and out to start the second half. At least the punt went to the 2
  14. Great stop to end the half for the D
  15. Defense is doing their part for the most part. May need to see what the backup QB can do
  16. I'll never agree with it
  17. It's still early, but this is a moment I'm glad I don't gamble.
  18. Wyoming 3-0. Good stand by the defense after the facemask. Hopefully the offense can get untracked
  19. He is walking around gingerly, isn't he...that's not ideal
  20. So far this seems to be the case.
  21. The media timeouts are insufferable when it's a punt fest...
  22. Defense got off the field though I'm not sure I liked Wyoming hunting from the Zips' 37 (even if 4th and 11) Offense had a shot at a big play but the ball was just that half inch too far it looked
  23. What we don't 100% know on Kent State was how much of their struggling was also because Burns was an awful game day coach. Maybe (and it's a stretch) they really weren't THAT comically bad last year and they could surprise people with a couple wins. Still agree with Akron blowing them out here, but I wouldn't be shocked if Kent was just "run of the mill bad" this year and not otherworldly bad.
  24. The rare game where the Zips are the better coached team. Definitely a shot to win here.
