  1. I have been to the Shoe for a band show, and...that place is so cramped. I think it'd be a miserable experience with 100K people there. It's reasonably dilapidated, too, so there's not really much to it other than "hey now I can say I was at the Shoe."
  2. There's certainly not much evidence to the contrary.
  3. Looks like a 50/50 game with a 6-5 (2023) FCS team and probably a 50/50 at Kent. So 2-10 is the ceiling again. With their crack marketing team, I'm sure they'll get dozens of people to come out for this.
  4. Probably could get them fairly cheap, just gotta contact all the MLB/NBA/NFL teams to get their stuff from 2020 out of storage.
  5. So from my prior comment - it's definitely "unwilling." This is just dumb.
  6. They're either unable or unwilling to compete in FBS. FCS is the only logical solution.
  7. Well good on them. Hopefully they can build on this
  8. I can come up and pee on the walls, but that's about it
  9. They going to paint the other 28000 bleachers black? Only way it's dark in those stands
  10. I don't think it would hurt the MAC at all if the whole league went to FCS.
  11. Irons may have a sundial for his inner pass rush clock, but he's not going to do something that dumb.
  12. Yes, I'd say so. Hopefully a quick recovery then.
  13. Hopefully they're ok and you saw incorrectly!!!
  14. Home wins at Infocision: 2009 - 3 (Morgan State, Kent State, Eastern Michigan) 2010 - 1 (Buffalo) 2011 - 1 (VMI) 2012 - 1 (Morgan State) 2013 - 3 (James Madison, Kent State, Toledo) 2014 - 4 (Howard, Eastern Michigan, Miami, UMass) 2015 - 3 (Savannah State, Buffalo, Kent State) 2016 - 2 (VMI, Miami) 2017 - 5 (Ark-Pine Bluff, Ball State, Buffalo, Ohio, Kent State) 2018 - 2 (Morgan State, Central Michigan) 2019 - Nope 2020 - 1 (Bowling Green) 2021 - 1 (Bryant) 2022 - 1 so far (St. Francis) So, 28. They're over 25!! Woohoo! 17 if you only count FBS teams, though.
  15. When that happened, my first thought was "oh wow, he's trying to convince himself that they've got this, when he knows they're still in deep trouble."
  16. I have Herbert in a dynasty league, so we're gonna hope it's just winning and big numbers, thank you.
  17. Progress is fighting for a bowl bid in 2022, and having a chance late in the season to get there. The nonleague schedule is rough, but the MAC East is the worst division in FBS. Don't necessarily have to get to the 6 wins, but not being eliminated from bowl eligibility with multiple games to play is the only way there will actually be tangible progress showing.
  18. The right hire can save the program. But we're at the point where going 3-5 in the MAC is very possibly "biggest improvement year-to-year in the nation" territory.
