That's the fun of the 12-day window. Homecoming (10/10 EMU) is generally sorted as a 3:30 kick. But the Miami game kickoff time will be known Monday October 5, and the PCCC kickoff time will be known Monday October 12. The 12-day window probably also applies to the empty stadium games whose network isn't clear (the empty stadium games against Ohio and Western Michigan are ESPN-family and I think those kick at 7).

I think it's more that UNLV is making a long trip, has a 9 AM kickoff, and is themselves not too great.

To be fair, they are spending a bit more than Akron on NIL stuff as well, but yes. Getting the coach right matters.

They're probably over ranked but USC only beat Rutgers by 7, so I'm ok with it.

When this is the play we're getting out of the two we have? No, we shouldn't. Shows our coaching staff can't evaluate guys they've had for years. We don't have the resources to bring in guys who aren't 100% for sure guaranteed eligible.

And how much more competent would they be if they got all the spring reps instead of the ineligible guy our coaching staff brought in?

When was the last time we could say that?

Oh goodness what a finish at the Glass Bowl

He's only had 4 1/4 seasons. He has 14 wins already. What more do you want? Seriously though, things aren't good enough and Moorhead isn't the type to do more with less, but I'm glad their attitude was good today and they didn't give up from the jump.

Wish the score was closer, but not angry with how they competed out there today.

The dumb penalties would be good to get cleared up before what's become a winnable UNLV game next week...

Yes, but I'm glad they didn't come in here acting like they'd lose. That's a major shift for this coaching staff.

There wasn't a single thing good about that decision tree.

Not really a bobble but the toe tap was 1/4 second too early for the catch control.

I can see why they upheld it, but having this discussion live is the right thing to do.

IMO they looked correct on TV

Nor should he.

Akron hasn't played bad through a half. Happy with the fight. Mistakes crippling. Broughton in a knee brace isn't ideal.

Bad penalties from the offensive line aren't helping a good drive.

Broughton to the locker room. I was worried he couldn't handle the hits.

Special teams not helping on that one. Akron has played pretty OK here against a decent B1G team, but they just don't have room for the errors they've made.

I like the aggression from Roggow, even if it didn't work.

If Akron doesn't have a jugs machine, Brookhart and Beals need to be throwing fastballs to these guys for about 14 hours in practice this week.

And it starts for Broughton and the injuries.
